Misdiagnoses
My mother has experienced shortness of breath since 2021. Until 2025, I placed all my trust in this doctor, which proved a significant mistake. During this time, he treated my mother for COPD. My sister and I eventually realized that our mother was not improving; we took her to another doctor, obtained chest images, and discovered stage 4 lung cancer. Before seeking a second opinion, I discussed her persistent shortness of breath with Dr. Kassapidis, who informed me that at 89, not much more could be done. He negligently misdiagnosed my mother, which was unrelated to her age. Had the cancer been detected earlier by this doctor, my mother's outcome would likely have been much better. Now, my siblings and I are praying that the new doctors can still save her.

A "doctor" driven by ego is truly the most dangerous "doctor" that one can ever encounter. I would never recommend this "man" to even fix a paper cut on someone's body. Bedside manners simply don't exist in his ridiculous world. If it was possible to give him zero stars I would.

Excellent, caring and compassionate to your needs. Went above and beyond when I needed him to be their for me in the care of a family member. Being his patient for over 25 years, I always trusted and put faith in him. Then a my brother was critically ill and he was really there for me. 5 stars is not nearly enough. Very thankful.

He saved my life. The best doctor I have ever met. I am 71 years old. The doctor tells you the truth, which some people have a problem with. He is a warm caring person who enjoys helping people.

Blunt, can be seen as bad bedside manner. Sometimes you need a doctor to just hit you with the truth instead of dancing around your ego. So far excellent treatment.

This is one doctor who listens to his patients , we met him at Mount Sinai Hospital in emergency. After many visits to emergency rooms, and doctors who were rated highly, he was the only doctor who solved our problem with a infection in the lungs, and took care of my health, made me more comfortable, and really cared, something difficult to find today. We highly recommend him. He also reminds us of Eric Clapman, wonderful personality and bedside manner

The worst dr I've ever seen in my life!!. My son was on life support last year and he was assigned to him as the pulmonogist. Horrible bedside manners, arrogant, lacked empathy and insensitive to me and my family members. I was devastated to see my son in such condition and this dr was so cold hearted towards me and even called security to keep me from asking him of the status of my son.

First time patient. Pleasant demeanor, friendly, professional bedside manner, will answer all your questions, isn't rushing nor dismissive. The office is spacious, impeccably clean and offers a self-serve area providing coffee, tea, and water to accommodate you while you wait. I had the pleasure of working with an excellent Respiratory Therapist who is simply gifted at what she does and makes your testing a comfortable experience. In all, I highly recommend this Doctor and this office.
