I was very impressed with Dr Prakash he is very attentive to my problems and , very thoughtful Very impressed with his skills However that doesn't apply to his staff I was calling about my prescriptions The person who returned my call was very rude and disrespectful It is a shame that such wonderful doctor have a staff like this

Dr. Soordal Prakash has been my primary care physician for more than 15 years. He is an eminently qualified physician. Before he got his medical license in the US as a primary care physician, I understand that he was a licensed surgeon in UK. He is a kind and knowledgeable physician. He answers all of patients' questions patiently. I should know because my wife is a retired Anesthesiologist. He has treated my diabetes. Dr. Prakash has been my primary physician for over ten years. Through this time, he has helped me deal with a multitude of issues. No matter how busy he may be, he is always very detail oriented and thorough. I have great confidence in the decisions he makes regarding my health. Dr Prakash has an approach to family medicine that is hard to find today. I recently moved out of Sarasota, but am very willing to drive over an hour and a half for his care. I feel very fortunate to have found him.

Best doctor in Sarasota period

Dr. Prakash is kind, caring, compassionate, and extremely knowledgeable and professional. He always takes whatever amount of time is required, to assist you with your medical issue. Never have I felt rushed. I always leave his office feeling that my issue has been resolved, or that we at least have a plan. His office staff is very caring and efficient. Referrals, Rxs, labs etc.are never a problem. I recommend him to everyone I know, and have, in fact, sent many family members and friends to him.

As a registered nurse, who is very critical of physicians and the care they give, I definitely wanted to say that if every physician followed Dr. Sordals caring, knowledge, bedside manner, the world would be a much better place. Not only did he come to see me each day I was in the hospital (no hospitalists care for his patients!!) he has continually texted or had the office staff follow up with me at home to make sure I was doing well. Now, ask yourself, does your primary care do that? If not, I'd switch to Dr. Sordal; he's the man! :)

Dr. Prakash is extremely detail in explaining the cause and the effect. He has been my primary physician over 15 years and he advices preventive tests and measures over the years for me to stay healthy! He listens to every concern and addresses each one in depth and provides the right direction for specialty referrals as needed.

Dr.Soordal Prakash is one of the best doctor in this area . He is compassionate,knowledgeable and caring. He is a great listener. He looks at you as a whole person and advises different treatment options. I would recommend him anyday.

The front office staff is terrible. They lie and schedule appts so the wait time is never less than one hour. It can even stretch to two hours. The chairs in the doctor's examining room were dirty and stained. It was a terrible experience every time I was there.

Very Good & Competent Dr.

Had telephone call about problems with aging mother. He had not answered three phone calls about serious side effects of sleep medication. Doctor seemed impatient. Within minutes of ending the call, my mother received a call from the doctor's office saying they were sending a social worker to get power of attorney. This was not what I agreed to. I called back to the office three times. All three times they hung up the phone on me. Absolutely unbelievably unprofessional. I was shocked. So was the home health aide present when my mother received the call.
