I made an appointment three months ago for a thyroid nodule and gave my insurance. I was told they took my insurance in network and it was fully covered. I verified this my insurance company. I get to my appointment and they tried to make me pay for the visit out of pocket and then said once insurance pays they’ll reimburse me. And my insurance was not gonna cover the visit and that was it. I called my insurance company who verified they would pay for the visit and the doctor refused to see me as I paid $300 out of pocket first for three months and never said a word do not go to this doctor.

Dropped me as a patient
I have been a patient of Dr. Talwar for many years and had been happy with her expertise. My insurance plan always requested that I get a referral for specialists. I missed my appointment last year due to personal reasons and made an appointment to see her again this month. Being it was 2 years since my last appointment they made me a "new patient". I made the appointment, filled out all the paper work and showed up at the office for my appointment. They informed me the she changed her policy to not accepting new patients that require a referral from their insurance company. I explained I am not a new patient, that I have been coming for years and missed my last appointment. They did not care at all and now I am in search for a new doctor. I am very disappointed that I was dismissed without regard to my health. This is terrible health practice from a doctor who obviously values her money more than her patients.

Misdiagnosed
Always get a second opinion! Dr. Talwar told me my biopsy was negative and I had nothing to worry about. I went for a second opinion and I indeed have cancer that has spread to my lymph nodes. She misdiagnosed me and when I called her office to inform them they were unphased… stay away from this officd

I've been seeing Dr. Talwar for almost a year now. I can't say enough wonderful things about her. She's caring, really listens to my rambling concerns and so far everything she's recommended has worked. If i've asked for alternative medicines she's helped assist with that. I truly don't know what I'd do without her.

Dr Talwar is a terrible doctor. She basically threw me out when I didn't lose weight event though I tried my best and actually gained weight because of the insulin she prescribed. She is just looking for people who are a quick fix and it's a shame because she could have done so much to help so many people!

Dr. Talwar has a lovely bedside manner and she was patient in explaining the biopsy procedure and results of my thyroid sonogram. Her staff was kind and informative as well. Office was run efficiently, with short wait times in both waiting and exam rooms.
