No attention to details and painful exam
I went for my annual physical for the first time with Dr. Duggal. She was extremely rough doing my breast exam which is typically not painful. I asked for particular tests that she did not run and I had to go back for another blood work to run the missing tests. I saw her once, and will not see her again.

Experienced, knowledgeable and professional
Dr. Duggal is an excellent doctor. She’s been my family’s physician for over five years. She listens, encourages questions, and always answers any questions or concerns that I may have. I’ve seen many doctors over the years and she is easily one of the best. We’ve stayed with her practice even though we’ve moved farther away from her practice location. We are completely satisfied with the care that she has provided our family over the years.

This doctor is not honest with the patients. My spouse has been advised to undergo Gall bladder test for a simple stomach pain which was unnecessary. Again, she charged my spouse twice for her yearly physicals for one visit. During the physicals, my wife answered to the question from the doctor how was she feeling that day, my wife told she was doing fine, but having some pain in the leg. It was just a normal conversation my wife had with the doctor. The doctor took it as a separate treatment and charged me $250 excluding insurance payment for that. My overall charges for this yearly physicals was around $900-$1000. Not sure what great treatment my wife got here from the doctor to charge exorbitantly. Novant Health is a nonprofit organization, but they know how to make money by squeezing from the customers. Beware when visiting this doctor.

Dr. Sonia Duggal is now with Novant Health Pineville Primary Care in Pineville, NC. She is fairly new to me as my long time primary care doctor retired. She is excellent! She is very thorough and spends as much time with me as I need. She is kind and personable.
