Dr. Ruit explained why I was having the pain I had, especially on the tops of my feet. I know I will eventually need bunion surgery, and I am confident that he is the doctor to do it. He spent time with me to go over everything.

Having end stage arthritis in my toes left me with a painful condition that could only be solved with surgery. From the first visit until the last, with physical therapy thrown in as well, Dr. Ruit and the team at Martin Foot and Ankle could not have been better. I was able to schedule appointments easily and around my very busy schedule. I was acknowledged with a smile when I arrived, and taken through each visit with care and concern. Dr. Ruit was thorough and complete in explaining what would happen, how long my recovery would be and what challenges I would face post surgery and on-going. Just wishing his magic wand would allow me to wear my heels again. But I am so pleased to not have the pain and discomfort of the condition, and be able to walk with ease even with a steel plate and numerous screws in my toe.

Dr Ruit is a brilliant and kind man who has helped my husband for nearly 2 years with his pre and post foot surgery. I would recommend him to ANYONE in the area as a podiatrist and foot surgeon. He treats us with respect and understanding, and makes a point to clearly explain every aspect of the medical process. Just an incredible doctor all around.

I saw Dr. Ruit and was thinking I would get my callouses taken care of but only was scraped a tiny bit by my toes. I left with terrible rough heels.

I think Dr. Ruit has awesome patient care skills. He takes the time to explain to the patient what he feels what needs to be done to resolve the problem. He's a doctor that really CARES and is easy to talk to. He explains in layman's terms what the problem is and what he feels is the best solution. Does not jump into the surgical treatment train....uses all forms of therapies first. I have seen Dr. Ruit about 10 year ago and really liked him then. I highly recommend Dr. Ruit!!!!

I think Dr.Ruit has extremely good patient care skills. He takes the time to explain to the patient as well as the family his care plan. I like that in a Doctor.

Very Caring and Considerate with my child

This foot doctor does not listen to all we had to say. Not friendly to us. Talks above my relative. Hard to get an edgewise word in conversation. Not the same bedside manner we experienced over the years with other doctors at Martin Doctors office. Will never use him again. We got the feeling he thinks he is better than his patient. Have heard this from other friends too. I drive to York to transport my relative and this was not pleasant.
