Thorough, professional and super knowledgeable
Had the pleasure of meeting with Dr Wu today after a 1 month wait. He was worth the wait. He demonstrated with skeletal foot exactly how my foot has been moving and where the pain is originating. He explained the scientific evidence behind his treatment plan and made a 6-part recommendation to address my pain. I was provided a night splint and education on how to pick proper shoes for improved support. As a rehabilitation therapist, I thought I knew enough to self-treat and have done so for the better part of a year. Wish I had seen Dr Wu sooner. Can’t recommend enough. Side note: My daughter, who is pre med, attended my appointment and after meeting Dr Wu, she is adding podiatry to a possible career choice because she was so impressed with his candor and expertise.

He wouldn't listen to anything I was telling him and ended up shaving my feet and now I'm an even more pain then I was when I went in there. He lectured me and refused to hear an entire sentence out of my mouth. He was completely unpersonable and it was obvious that all he cared about was getting me out of there. Absolutely horrible doctor I do not recommend!

I followed instructions; new shoes, inserts, eventually custom orthotics, exercises, stretching, physical therapy & icing... Pain never lessened, just moved a little after almost 7 months & when I went back thinking now we'll get imaging of I was told go back to physical therapy for 4 more weeks for range of motion. I had gone from -3 to +11 with no relief... How would 4 more weeks help? 2nd opinion and imaging showed fasciosis (deteriorating) and calf muscle too tight/short. No amount of physical therapy was going to help that and now I'll always have fasciosis!

The visit Dr. Wu was pleasant and friendly. VA Community Heath referral. Once we were both on the same page about the purpose the appointment went well. I will probably see him again

I had the same experience as another reviewer on here, but he claimed that the problem was a toe ulcer. He worked on it for a few minutes then said that I'd have to get my toe amputated. I asked for a referral for a 2nd opinion, and he flat-out refused. After nearly a year, I finally was able to get a referral to another doctor, who said that it wasn't even an ulcer, but just a corn that was out of control. No amputation necessary. talking with many other patients, I've learned that he always wants to cut. Very, very bad.

He is awful. He spends very little time. I had a painful corn or something on my foot. He didn't tell me what it was and did not numb my foot when he removed it, and worst of all, he only removed the tip of it. I pointed out that it wasn't fully removed, and he just said that it was. so this thing on my foot is bigger and more painful than ever, and I do NOT want to see him again, but I have no choice.

I went to see Dr. Wu about a foot pain. After 30 years in construction they are pretty bad. Dr.Wu's office is a great health care example. The staff is amazing and the organization is impeccable. I have been a va patient for over 20 years, because of the military organization. For me, this is modern medicine. Everything under one roof. Only a pharmacy would make it complete. Great support for a great young doctor. I was hesitant to try something new, I hope you won't be
