Dr. Smitha Pati, MD

Went to a PA in this office for over 15 years for a condition and then when I urgently needed a letter documenting it based on my records, she refused to sign one. No appts available for weeks. Also, pathetically unresponsive office personnel. Good luck trying to get a message to a nurse or a prescription refilled. Hope it's not urgent for your health! This place has gotten so bad my other doc here QUIT. Found a new doc that signed a letter first day we met and handled all my refills quickly! I'm so done with this absolutely incompetent staff.

I am currently looking for another provider. She replaced my previous provider who supposedly "retired" though very young. She is very short with me. I needed an ultrasound after a quesstionable mammogram and she would not return the request and I had to go to her office and personally get a written request after Solis cancelled my appointment and I had to wait another month for an appointment. She was full of excuses. When I then needed a biopsy she again did not respond to Solis request for an order. Again I went to her office to get a hard copy of a request so I wouldn't get postponed again and after waiting 30 minutes, staff was finally able to locate the request which was sent a whole month after being requested. It's now been 5 months since my original mammogram and I sure hope I don't have cancer after being delayed this long. She doesn't seem to care about her patients but is very good at making up excuses. Also she doesn't phone in prescriptions when she says she will until after several calls from the pharmacy or myself. She just gives lame excuses. I cannot believe she still has a license to practice medicine as she only seems to care about making money.

First and last visit with this woman! Was very rude and would NOT listen to me. Said she couldn’t review all patient history because she had too many patients and it would take too much of her time. She tried to push drugs on me and when I refused she got upset! Then she told me not to roll my eyes at her because that was rude and said she couldn’t understand why I was getting so upset. I got up and walked out in the middle of the visit. Worst, most pathetic and unprofessional visit I’ve EVER had in my 60 years being alive!

If I could give her a rating below 1 star I would! She was rude, gaslighted me and tried to push pills on me! I tried to ask her to look at past records and she said she could not do that for every patient. I pulled out my notes from previous visits and she argued that all she could go on was his visit with her! I have been a patient here for 20 plus years, and have been assigned SEVEN different medical professionals over the years because the good ones keep leaving. This is BY FAR the worst experience I’ve ever had with a medical “professional” and I ended up walking out of the appointment after she told me not to roll my eyes at her because it was rude! I can’t believe that a doctor thinks they can push pills off on people without knowing anything about the people or seeing previous records! I will NOT go back here and believe HCAT made a TERRIBLE mistake selling to wellmed! HORRIBLE!

Dr Pati is very attentive, thorough and provides easy to understand explanations. She does not rush me and listens to what I am saying. Her manner encourages me to discuss my concerns.

I feel that Dr. Pati is highly qualified as a physician and is detailed in her diagnosis, medicinal prescriptions and preventive medicine alike.

Doctor Smitha Pati is very knowable and very kind.

She is knowledgeable, efficient, concerned about my medical history and issues, and she follows up to see that everything is being handled correctly.

I was concerned about the previous comments left on doctor Pati. In the experience that I have had with her she's been caring and has taken the time to explain my conditions in detail and has gone out of her way to make sure I am taken care of and understand my medical conditions. I would not hesitate to recommend her for a primary care position...

I thought you was very thorough during my examination. She didn't have much of a personality but that's okay... I thought she was a very good doctor.

I would not recommend Dr. Pati to anyone. I waited for over 45 minutes to be seen (probably not her fault), she asked what the reason for the visit was, I got one sentence out and she interrupted me to prescribe something. I tried to give her the rest of my symptoms and tried to ask questions and she wouldn't give me the light of day after waiting all that time to finally see her. She doesn't care to figure out what's actually going on with a patient, she's just a prescription pusher.
