Great Doctor But Terrible Service By Office
I keep calling and leaving messages for a refill for my migraine prescription and there's no response. There is no late night or weekend appointments so I'm usually forced to take time off work to go to the office just get a refill. I need to find a new neurologist.

No Waiting Time! I was Immediately taken when I arrived according with my scheduled appointment. I was getting assistance and help from the whole stuff even when I was not asking for it! The atmosphere was very pleasant and friendly. I know Dr. Gardella for more than 7 years. I came to her again because of her high professional level, knowledge and empathy.

Don’t even bother
Don’t even bother. You won’t be able to get in touch with the doc or her staff. I left 6 messages over the past 2 mos because the staff did not put in a request for an MRI I needed. No one answers and no one calls back. The worst.

As in most of her reviews I agree that the problem is not with her but with the staff. So after showing up for an appointment only to find out that the appointment, which I made over the phone, was never put in the computer so they could not see me (no attempt was made to try and rectify the situation), then waiting over an hour and a half at my appointment (I later found out that the new patients that arrived after me were seen first, that’s why I had to wait), and finally I received a call from the office to reschedule my next appointment for the THIRD time because the technician will not be in AGAIN I told them to forget about it, I will be finding a new neurologist. I’m sure she is aware of what’s going on, as well as the office manager, and they choose not to do anything about it. I guess they feel their time is more precious than their patient’s time, however I do not agree.

I have had a few appointment with Dr Gardena and on more than one occasion I have witnessed patients being turned away because they did not have an appointment, although they insisted they called up and made the appointment. Well today it happened to me. I called and made the appointment at least 4 weeks ago and when I showed up this morning they would not see me because it wasn’t in the computer. I did not even receive an apology, but they did assure me that it wasn’t my fault (how could it be when I ACTUALLY DID make the appointment). They made no effort to try and accommodate me which I find very unprofessional. I have worked in the medical field and we have always accommodated the patient when ever we screwed up. I like Dr Gardena, however there seems to be a problem with the staff when making an appointment, and that issue really needs to be addressed since This certainly was not the first time it has happened.

I have nothing to say negative about Dr. Gardella. However, the help there are horrible. When making my appt. the girl was talking to someone about lunch; when I got there they gave me the wrong dr. and I was waiting one and one half hours; one review I read was that this person was waiting one month for medical records; I had to cancel my appointment which I did a week ago only to get a phone call today reminding me of my appt. which I proceeded to explain that I cancelled it. The office needs to review the competency of their staff! Completely turned me off from coming back! No temperature was taken for COVID.
