I see Dr Sivanta Paul. He is the most caring provider I have ever seen. He seen I was depressed when no one else around me noticed or cared. He has taken the time to make sure I got the help I needed and has been a huge asset to my improving mental health. He always is very kind talking to my children when they are around. He is very relatable and I would recommend him to anyone. I’m so thankful that PSI chose Dr Paul for me.

Should not be practicing medicine
This man should not be allowed to practice; I will not deign to call him 'Dr' for I am sure he neither committed to nor even took, the Hippocratic oath. He had an appointment with my daughter where he shouted at her, he refused to consider her previous diagnosis from other doctors, he insisted she was 'misdiagnosed' and changed her medication based on his three minute assessment on Zoom. He told her she knew nothing and he was far more knowledgeable than her regarding her medical history (she has never met, talked to, nor been treated by him in the past). This man is a medical menace and should not be treating mental health issues unless his goal is to cause more problems. Her mental health has taken a dive since speaking to him and she - and our family - will pay the price for his ineptitude. Stay away from him. We will also be reporting the episode and filing a complaint to the Florida Board of Medicine.

Didn't Listen
At my 1st appt this morning he constantly interrupted me and had me repeat myself a lot. He asked me for very specific details about my suicide attempt. I have never been asked that before by any professional. And he asked me about it multiple times!! He didn't even remember my suicide attempt! He tried to change my diagnosis from bipolar 1 to schizoaffective after talking to me for 5 min. I told him I had been diagnosed schizoaffective at first and why multiple doctors landed on bipolar instead. He dismissed it. He assumed I was still extremely unstable based on my diagnosis and history, not based on how I present currently. He used generalizations about bipolar/schizo to justify taking me off a med that's working for me. My last psych saw me every three months but he wanted to see me back in 2 weeks. He either wanted me to waste more money or he's scared of bipolar/schizo/suicidal people. I immediately found a new psych and will not be using MedPsych or seeing Dr. Paul again.

WORST. DOCTOR. EVER.
I had my first session with Dr. Paul and he began by asking me the basics about my medical history, previous diagnosis, treatments etc. I was very uncomfortable from the moment the meeting started, I expressed that to him and he COMPLETELY IGNORED ME. So he just continued asking his questions and after about 15 minutes of uncomfortable talking, he told me that my previous psychiatrist's diagnosis (Depression, ADHD) was totally wrong, he wanted to take me off of my medications and diagnose me for himself (he believed I had bipolar). I had been with me previous psychiatrist for 2 years and had been making extremely good progress forward, and in 15 minutes this guy thinks he knows me better than someone who spent 2 years treating and getting to know me. For your own sanity, DO NOT GO TO THIS MAN FOR TREATMENT. I had one session with him, which I ended early because he caused me to have a SEVERE ANXIETY ATTACK.

He prescribed me an antidepressant and when I asked him about the medications and side effects, he told me to Google it. He never listen. Always late. Rush things. Appears irritated all the time. Makes me come to office but he’s virtual.

Worst visit with a dr I have ever had. We had a zoom meeting scheduled and his guy called me an hour early and said he was ready to meet then. I was not prepared. It clearly didn’t matter. He dismissed all of my documentation and concerns about my child. He wanted me to list all of those right in front of her, which I will not do. No parent should. That’s horribly damaging. I told him some and offered to email the rest. She was acting out on the zoom call. He asked me how I disciplined her. Then said because she does well in school that she is fine. He offered no help and suggested I try to call PSI to get therapy. That’s how I got him in the first place! He has no bedside manner. I have nothing good to say.

If I can give these folks zero stars, I would. They are all about money. Since COVID, they do their appointments online. My last appointment was July in which my doctor switched my medication. Usually they say give a new prescription a full month before changing which I did. I called my doctor letting him know I been having severe migraines and I barely could get out the bed. He told me to get my FMLA paperwork and switched my medication again. I sent his office my packet and was told everything would be completed by the end of the week for a $98 charge. I had no problem with that. Well the end of the week came and went. I contacted the office again and was told the doctor was busy all day and could not get to my paperwork. So I got a tad bit frustrated and told the office that O been waiting as I needed the paperwork to return to work. I get another call saying the doctor isn't going to fill it out as he didn't think I needed the time off for my condition. Mind you, this

Very unprofessional. Made me come to the office during COVID, waited over 90 minutes past my appointment time in a run-down waiting room (torn chairs, outlet cover missing from the socket) only to be called into an office to do a video chat because he didn't want to come to the office due to COVID. So why couldn't I do this from home? He asked questions that did not relate to my issue, was rude and condescending. Seemed surprise that I had children living with me and said "but your file says you are single" as if a single woman couldn't have children - how misogynistic! I walked out of the session -will never go back. Stay far away from this charlatan!
