Refused a surgery consultation saying I had mesenteric Venus thrombosis. Was never told to me and I’ve never been on blood thinners. My Doctor couldn’t find anything saying this in surgery or Doctor’s notes. Going to have my Doctor submit another referral. Hopefully it’s a better outcome.

I'm not going to go see this person after how the staff were extremely rude. While standing around doing nothing in the office, they made me feel as though i somehow was being demanding by merely asking what time my next appointment was. Very poor communication. The office was dingy, dirty and gross. If the Dr cant be the judge of good staff you don't get to cut me open. Good judgement is good judgement.

My name is Lori S and doctor V performed my surgery last Friday. He knew I was very nervous when I saw him prior to my surgery. He was calming promised to tske care of me and he did. He is an excellent surgeon. I also want noted his Secretary Danielle is outstanding. She was so helpful so friendly and very informative I highly recommend his office to anyone. Dr. V. was very kind when I went my appt with him. I felt I was in good hands. That said, I have had a terrible time receiving my referrals for tests and having his office return my calls. I would call one week, wait for a week to see if my call was returned, and then call again. When I did finally talk to someone, they sounded put off that i was trying to get info. I switched surgeons after 4 months of this. The worst service that I have ever received in any doctor/surgeon's office.

Dr. V himself is a very knowledgeable and friendly person. He is good at what he does and did a great job when it came to my surgery. His office staff however need to be educated on how to speak to patients. I had my surgery with Dr. V almost 6 years ago, lost weight, but gained a big portion back. I have been dieting and exercising. I called wondering if he did revisions or if there was something that could help, the lady who answered said "Diet and Exercise" and ended the call.

Very unlikely seeing as our son who had repair of an inguinal herniai in September 2015 is now in an academy in this state from Sunday evenings until Friday evenings with no access to a phone . He has been having moderate discomfort during strenuous physical activity in the general area of the surgery. We, his parents have called for past 2 weeks. Last week receptionist stated she would email the Dr. This week she unenthusiastically said she would relay the message. No call, unacceptable.
