I was referred to Dr. Dantu for surgical robotic repairs to my undercarriage made through my abdomen. Dr. Dantu was so nice and respectful. He presented my options and was honest about what he felt was best of the three I was given. When I was treated, he visited me in the hospital at my bedside directly after recovery, again the morning after and again that evening. This was his pattern of attention every day until I was discharged and I can't say enough about how that kind of medical presence makes the patient feel when trusting a surgeon to be at the bedside during the process. His work was amazing and I am back to my old self with awesome results. Highly highly recommend him to anyone needing medical care in this specialty.

In addition he is so compassionate, down to earth and informative. He shows complete empathy along with having a sense of humor. Developing trust with a doctor is very important for the process of healing for many people. Dr. Dantu is an asset to the Central NY region. I highly recommend for any medical attention related to colorectal medical treatment.

I was referred to Dr. Dantu because I was recently diagnosed with CA. From the 1st visit to his office he was very kind, compassionate & on the same page as we were regarding timeliness of treatment. From my office visits to hospital stay to my follow up he was consistent with his compassion & kindness. He made sure we were informed even when we asked the same questions because when you are in the situation sometimes you are hearing information but not really listening. He always looked at you instead of a computer while discussion my case which makes a difference in patient care. He has an excellent bedside manner. I would definitely refer family or friends to his office. He made decisions that would be best for me as a patient. The reason for meeting him was unpleasant but I am glad I had the opportunity to meet him. Keep your excellent bed side manner. It makes a difference.
