Her education is more important than her patients
I was with her for ~6 years. She thought my particular diagnosis meant that labs would never show anything that she didn't already know about—except she never seemed to listen to me. My last straw was an appointment where she prescribed something that would lower the efficacy of one of my anticonvulsants because I had less seizures while I was taking something similar in high school (I had tonic clinic seizures then (still do) and my dosage increased with each). Last year the amount of tonic clonic seizures was at least triple compared to the year or two she was comparing it to.I misread something on the internet and brought it up, and she bragged about her education while shutting me down. I wanted to kms but used a coping mechanism to prevent myself from doing so.
