Dr. Simon Chin, MD

Dr Chin didn't take the time to listen to concerns, all he did was look at my chart and said that I was already setup for surgery and then followed up with asking me why I was there I explained to Dr Chin he never personally saw me, that his PA Danielle was the one saw me. You would figure that a doctor that is worth anything would like to see his patient before surgery and see if his staff member Danielle PA is on track with what she requested. Dr Chin was unprofessional and is a substandard hand surgeon A doctor who doesn't care, has very bad bedside manner, and unpleasant to deal with. Dr Chin never explained anything about possible negative consequences after the surgery, or how long the recovery would be, all he said was don't worry. The surgery was bad, the stitches slipped out of my skin by the 3rd day, which left the wound open. A professional Doctor is any field, would have seen the patient explained the procedure thoroughly beforehand and explained what to expect after.

He is a callus, arrogant and unprofessional hand surgeon and takes no responsibility for his errors or misdiagnosis.. He operated on my thumb, told me NOTHING about possible negative consequences after the surgery. Misdiagnosed an infection that did not get properly treated. What a mess.

Excellent calm surgeon. I had a breast reduction surgery and am very happy with the results! He explained the procedure thoroughly beforehand and afterwards my recovery time was manageable. Now that I am all healed and just doing scar minimization silicone wraps, I have feelings in my nipples and am very pleased with how they look and no more back pain!

Dr Simon chin saw me after another doctor performed surgery on my right wrist. The surgery was not the most well done surgery. Doctor chin has been helping me get better ever since. He also fixed my left wrist and elbow and helped me recover. I truly feel he is one of the nicest and smartest hand doctors in the area. He is well educated smart and a great person. He cares about you as if your a friend not just another client. He has a office in Brewster and Jefferson valley as well as Katonah.

He performed bilateral carpal tunnel release surgery for me. He and staff are amazingly responsive, professional, and kind. Can not recommend Dr. Chin more highly, his staff is just as awesome as he is.

Great results with Botox.

Due to an accident, I had to have 7 pins and braces put into my hand. Dr Chin was amazing and after surgery and sticking with the PT - I have no scars or issues with any of my fingers. He was amazing in every way! Also - called him several times in the evening and he always returned my calls immediatly

I had to have a breast reduction surgery and Dr Chin performed the surgery. I am very pleased with his work and his bedside manner. I trust him to do any other surgery that I might need in the future.

Dr. Chin has been wonderful and is always available to answer questions, even after hours. What started off as what I thought would be a simple procedure became quite complicated due to other health issues and Dr. Chin was there to calm all my fears and make me feel confident everything would be ok. He is compassionate and kind and I would recommend him to anyone looking for a great surgeon. The reception staff is less than nice but I can overlook that to be comfortable with the doctor.

I wouldn't have him as my doctor if he were the very last plastic surgeon on the planet! He is rude, doesn't listen, acts superior and is just not the person with whom you'd like to put your trust...

Certainly was not made to feel that I was #1. I a breast with implants and even though it was clear from the beginning the right breast needed a larger implant and my card says it was done they are still uneven. Scars are large and noticeable with implants looking mis-shape but Dr. Chin says it's how all our bodies are different! What?!? One year post op I still have numbness in one breast!!!!!!
