Dr. Sima Manavi, MD

My father-in-law was suddenly cleared for discharged without communication with me. When I attempted to call Dr. Sima Manavi, the attending nurse said that Dr. Manavi had already talked to my sister-in-law at length who lived in another State, but however, does not have "facts on the ground", and is not the person handling the day-to-day and discharge matters. My father-in-law can barely walk, had a splenic infarction, had low-white-blood-cell count, a hole in the heart, and inflammation of the esophagus, according to the previous doctor who was providing with me with daily updates. No updates on these conditions, and when I attempted to have the doctor call me, her response according to the nurse was that she had already spoken to the sister-in-law and that I should speak with her. This is extremely unprofessional, disrespectful.
