Dr. Sidney Starkman, MD

I would use caution when considering this practice for your plastic surgery needs. I originally approached Starkman Facial Plastic Surgery for a face and neck lift. I also wanted to have my eyelids done as it is a family issue. I was told, I also have to have a brow lift completed. When speaking to Dr Starkman, I also inquired about fixing a deviated septum. The doctor energetically said, I can fix that! So I opted to spend an additional $8,000 as I did not want to have two (2) surgeries. Fast forward to after the surgery. The Doctor failed to cauterize a blood vessel and a hematoma occurred. When I went to the office, the doctor took a wand, with zero numbing, and proceed to remove the pooled blood from my neck. All the time, I was screaming it hurts. His reply, 10 more seconds, ten more seconds. This cased discoloration to my neck which still has not resolved. Further, my nose was worse than before the surgery to which he replied, it just needs time to heal .

Dr Starkman is a talented plastic surgeon and I would highly recommend him. His bedside manner is professional, warm and calming. After much personal research I was confident that Dr Starkman is using the most up to date techniques, equipment and products to give his patients the best possible results. I was impressed with his detailed consultation and felt like he gave great guidance. I was very happy with my results and will definitely seek his services in the future.

I was born with a port wine stain birthmark on an easily visible part of my body. Throughout my 60+ years of life, I was told by numerous medical professionals that I would just have to live with it. That is until I met Dr. Starkman. Dr. Starkman removed my large, unsightly birthmark using laser technology. He ensured I was comfortable throughout the process. I could see the birthmark gradually disappearing after each appointment. I no longer draw stares from strangers or struggle to cover my birthmark for photographs. Each glance in the mirror brings joy to my heart knowing I will never have to see it again. I cannot begin to thank Dr. Starkman enough for changing my life.

When i broke my nose in December, I needed someone to help fix it. Starkman did just that. He was able to fix the broken nose and also my deviated septum. He was caring as he personally called me a few hours after the surgery to see how I was doing. One of the best doctors I have dealt with!

I recently saw Dr. Starkman for lip filler and tear trough filler. I am absolutely thrilled with both! I can’t remember the last time I have looked this well rested! Dr. Starkman is an excellent plastic surgeon! I am very happy with the results he achieved after operating on my left side/edge of my nose. I had a basal cell carcinoma removed, and he was able to perfectly restore the left side of my nose to match the right side of my nose. I am impressed with his surgical ability, his ability to explain the options, and his willingness to answer questions before and after the procedure. In addition, he has a great staff, from Jodi at the front desk to his nursing/supportive staff. They are all helpful, competent and cheerful. Great experience!
