I like and respect her
I’m sad to read other reviews of patients who were not happy with Dr. Madhusudan. I found her the exact opposite: she listened, we had a conversation, she was careful and decisive. I was delighted to have found her, and will continue to see her.

Currently in office with Doctor
This is my first appointment, and fromthe first interaction, she is extremely dismissive and absolu condescending. She actually had the nerve to askme if I even knew where my thyroid gland was located as though because I was telling her about my fibroids and my heart symptoms, that I didn’t realize where my thyroid was located. She dryly asked what she should do? I told her that she should do her job. Thenshe says to me that I didn’t send over my records to her office from my primary of which I told her that her office never called me to request these. She says well we called your primary doctor. SoI said to her , well if you don’t inform me personally, I cannot answer for a doctor’s office that I am not employed. She appears to be very agitated with anyone for simply showing up. I’m genuinely disappointed as I had such high hopes for an interested doctor to help menavigate why I don’t feel well. This doctor really needs to be a better caregiver. She has lost that.

Wrote in chart that she talked with me about things she never actually talked with me about. Didn't listen to any complaints I had. Ordered blood tests I had already had done. Walked out without even letting me know she was "done". Very dismissive experience.

If I could choose no stars I would have
Zero starts for Dr. Madhu. The only reason I gave a star is because it made me. But the receptionist and the nurse were incredibly lovely. The doctor however had horrible bedside manner. She talked at me, not with me. She didn’t seem to care about anything I brought in to discuss. I came in to find the root cause of an issue I’ve been having for most of my life and she completely disregarded anything that I brought up. She only cared about one aspect that I did NOT go in to discuss. She spoke to me in a manner that made me feel anxious, belittled, and embarrassed. I will not be returning. Doctors are supposed to help you, not create more harm. I don’t doubt that she is knowledgeable in her field but the experience I had in interacting with her most definitely deterred me from going back. I should have heeded the bad reviews.

Waited months for nothing I would love to give a 0
I was so excited to finally get into an endocrinologist. She told me about a test she wants to order, reviewed last bloodwork, touched my hands, checked my radial pulse and listened to two lobes of my lungs... I was previously diagnosed with hashimotos by my general doctor and I know there's something else going on as I don't feel well. Instead Suchee ordered no other tests and told me I should go see a nutritionalist. I do not disagree with her, I would very much like to see one as I am in a calorie deficit and can't seem to lose weight. But believe it or not I went to an endocrinologist for my hashimotos symptoms not for a lecture on weight. I'm still not sure why the ultrasound was not ordered. She doesn't listen and is pretty rude. When she was done she walked out and I didn't even know that the appointment was over. She's awful. However the other staff members were so so nice.

Horrible personality. Delivered bad news with no empathy. Spoke threateningly about my need to improve disease-related behavior.

I brought my son to this appointment. I felt like the doctor ignored me and my son. She spent almost the whole time in front of her laptop. She did not talk to my son at all and only talked to me if I asked a question. She did not explain anything. She may know a lot about her field but she needs to improve her communication skills. i was very disappointed and I drove 3 hours to go to the appointment.
