Dr Shum is so knowledgeable and he treated my daughter with meningitis before 6 weeks of age. He knew immediately in his office what was we with her. Most importantly he was like a father figure to her and we love and miss him very much.

Dr Shum was our Daughter Lisa’s pediatrician when she was born with Down’s Syndrome on 11/29/83. Dr Shum told me: “this baby will need a lot of love, but she will be your greatest blessing. Dr. Shum, you were so right! Lisa is 40 yrs old now, and blesses us every day with her sunny nature and so full of love. We live in Florida now and have never forgotten your kind words when we needed them the most. You took care of her medical needs until we moved here on 1990. Thank you!!! Your display of empathy was unparalleled.
