Dr. Neurgaonkar appears to be a knowledgeable physician; however, he is forgetful regarding what treatments and prescriptions you have had and, at times seems rushed. His nurse is great, but the other office staff are rude or have no idea what is going on. I have to remind the receptionist to call me back or to request a refill of a prescription. His office hours are atypical and not very patient friendly (his office closes on certain days of the week). Sometimes prescriptions are not filled on time and I (or the pharmacy) have to call his office to remind him to send in the prescription. He has discussed with me about sending me to a specialist for additional treatment, but no action has been taken. Subsequent requests for a specialist have been met with 'lets see how this goes before we go down that path.' There have been times that I did receive good medical care from him, but there were other times where he was dismissive without explaining himself. Very inconsistent.

HMO Primary Care Physicians are supposed to give referrals to specialists. Somebody needs to explain this to Dr. Neurgaonkar & his staff.

Have been trying to reach his office for two days for a referral for a time sensitive appointment with a specialist. His exchange answers the phone, but they don't know why the office is not answering during business hours. I drove over to the office and the receptionist told me their phones are not working because the internet is down. She also said she had no idea when the phones would be working. This is unacceptable. Also, the office equipment is antiquated and the exam room was not clean. This MD should not be on the BCBSTX network.

He truly cares for his patients. And took the time to listen to all my concerns even when he had a full waiting area. Be aware wait time can be 20mns sometimes but totally worth it. One of the best doctors I seen. His staff is great too specially front desk girl is very kind and efficient.

Very thorough Doctor. He will actually perform a proper physical examination and take medical history rather just send you for MRI or X-Ray or lab. Today's doctors are poorly trained ....my last guy didn't even bother examining - he sent me straight to X-ray - nothing showed up on X-Ray ...a simple physical exam would have given the diagnosis. The office is a bit dated and he is foreign, but don't be fooled, this guy is a excellent doctor - clinical very good and bed sides manners are great.
