I was a bit apprehensive about my first meeting with Dr. Rathi. I had been a patient of Dr. Alfred Valles who died unexpectedly. I was informed by the Heart Group that I was to select another doctor from the list on line or they could assign me to a doctor. It took me close to a year to make my selection. I researched each and every doctor on the list before making my choice. When I discussed my choice with my Primary Physician, Dr. Kissel, he told me that several of his patients also have chosen Dr. Rathi and all were pleased with her. Additionally, Dr Kissel stated that he was pleased with my selection as she is very conservative in her approach. I did have my first appointment with her yesterday and I must admit I was impressed. She was attentive, personable, spent a considerable time with me and then ordered a number of tests to establish a base line. I am very pleased with my choice and have already recommended her to a friend that is having to make the same choice.
