First impressions
The doctor seemed rushed. He hadn’t heard of the generic name of my current medication. The first time I was sick, I called to make an appt, and let the phone ring for 5 minutes. I tried calling back and still no one picked up. I had to go to urgent care.

1st Pulmonology appointment for father with severe COPD. He spoke fast and rushed us in and out. Didn't ask questions and simply recommended a new inhaler - despite my dad's protest to cost. Had to ask about pulmonary rehab and a home oxygen concentrator - he prescribed but sent incomplete orders to providers that required another visit to the office. Dad lives an hour away and he seemed to be unconcerned about the inconvenience he caused, Not sure why anyone would go see him. The nurse did vitals but then no other communication after. No education, no literature, nothing. Wait if you need to in order to get a better doc.

The only time this doctor came into the room was to give me a survey pertaining to my stay. Never saw the man other than that. Bedside manner was non_existent and would not listen to anything I had to say. This hospital and their staff has to be the worst in America.
