I give them a 0! Shivani Chawla Mehta, MD Silicon Valley Medical Clinic saw me for our first appt back in June, 1st appt,last year. It was a good appt. Came Dec 11th for a physical, which was suppose to be free as it was an annual check up. They charged me $45.00 co-pay when I told them I have been here a total of 4 times and that according to my insurance I am suppose to get a free preventative care. They did not honor it, charged me. Prac, Qgechukwu Nwammu, was good at the physical, but fell off when she could not provide me a FIT test and did not put my blood test panel in to LAB CORP. I went to LAB Corp twice, both times could not see me due to the lab test paperwork not emailed or faxed over. Emailed Shivani Chawla Mehta she said it was there. Went a 3rd time, I gave up,my dietian did not have the info for me.Last straw, Today, March 31st I had an appt for 9:40am,confirmed with an email. I get there the office is CLOSED, not communication. Emails to back up all above claims.

Booked an annual preventive care visit but was billed as a diagnostic appointment due to additional blood tests. While diagnostic labs charging for out-of-coverage tests is expected, I was unclear on why the doctor’s visit was also charged. Additionally, the result review telehealth call was billed as a physical office visit, increasing the claim amount. Recommend clarifying billing details upfront for future patients.

Dr Chawla did an amazing job during my visit and solved a mystery that a previous urgent care visit and a trip to the ER could not. Cannot be more thankful!
