Dr. Shishir Shah, DO

I have been treated by Dr. Shah & St. Joseph's wound care for more than 2 years. After 2 years and 6 months and wound not closed, confirmed through PET that cancer was no longer present, started 3 day a week HBOT. Could only commit to 3 days a week due to work and other medical appointments ongoing. After 2nd week/2nd day of treatment resulted in stomach distention (bloating is what I believed it to be) communicated that to staff and doctor and recommended a diet reduced in or without fiber. Problems continued each week to the extreme after the 2nd treatment even though followed instructions of limiting or eliminating fiber. Then, after staff started placing a absorption pad realized could be dehydration as had experienced with cancer growth in the past and was well documented in approximately 3 years of medical history at Dignity. Dr. Shah referred me to the ER and indicated that he was not involved in the management of my dehydration and that was all he could offer!

Dr. Shah was awesome to work with. I was able to get in to see him within a week of calling. He was very nice to talk to and listened to what we had to say. I would highly recommend him to anyone. All of the staff were very good.
