I am VERY fortunate to be under Dr. Mirza's care. If it were not for the medical acumen that he brings to each appointment my medical status would be quite different. I always come away with more knowledge about my condition. A very caring doctor and I am grateful to him.

I had an incredibly frustrating experience at this specialist's office. I booked an appointment over two months ago, and when I arrived today, I followed all the instructions, including bringing in extensive paperwork as requested. After waiting 30 minutes for my initial vitals, I was moved into the exam room and waited an additional 10 minutes without any communication about the delay. I had to ask when I might be seen, as I had to return to work after taking the morning off.Instead of any consideration for my time or concerns, I was told I could reschedule, which felt dismissive and rude. When I went to to reschedule, I was informed that the doctor was working on more complicated cases, implying that those were prioritized over mine. I had been waiting for weeks for this appointment, and not once was I informed that they were running behind. The office is very strict about being on time, submitting bloodwork on time, andkeeping phones away, yet when it comes to respecting my time.

Dr. Mira is very knowledgeable and an excellent doctor who takes the time to listen. I would consider this doctor also as a detective since he does not like to just treat the symptom but will find the underlying cause of a medical problem. He takes time with the patient to understand the complete medical history and ask questions to understand the patient. My son had seen and been treated by several doctors all whom seemed baffled as to why his blood work would always show under active thyroid no matter how many times his medication was increased. Right from the first visit on, Dr Mirza was able to diagnose the problem as to why his levothyroxin never being enough. He is now much healthier and continues to improve

Dr Mirza is caring and knowledgeable. He takes time with patients to talk with them and explore the root causes of symptoms. He made me feel heard and he takes the time to listen and figures out what is going on. He always listens and understands even when I forget to take some of my supplements! I’ve always felt he cares and really takes time for patients. He gives practical solutions and supplements that really make a difference. I am so glad I started seeing Dr Mirza.

I have been seeing Dr. Mirza since approximately 2002. I had puzzling symptoms that were undiagnosed for a couple of years. Finally, after a lot of frustration and aggravation, I went to Dr. Mirza and was diagnosed with low Vitamin D. Low as in 11, with normal being at least 30. I started and stopped the vitamin D a couple of times to confirm the findings, and it was confirmed. It took the projected path to get to the normal range, and has not been that low since. A couple of doctors along the way had just blown this off. When I told them the findings, they just said, Oh, Dr. Mirza finds low Vitamin D in a lot of people. Of course, that was before they got caught up to him some ten years later! I would recommend Dr. Mirza for a number of reasons, but his caring, thoroughness and pursuit of excellence would be my top three.

I have been a patient of Dr. Mirza's for 12 years. He is very professional and extremely knowledgeable. He worked diligently to determine the cause of my health issues. He continues to monitor my health and guides me to live in a healthy way. He has made a positive difference in my life and my well being. I highly recommend him.

I was referred to Dr. Mirza by friends who highly recommended him for his attention to detail with their medical needs. He spent 2 hours with me on my first visit reviewing my entire current and past health and prescriptions. He has succeeded in determining my current medical condition immediately. Previous to seeing him I saw 4 different doctors who met with me several times for about 5 minutes and sent me off with a new prescription for treatment which never addressed my condition. I am so grateful for Dr. Mirza for his diligence and patience to follow through with his original diagnosis to determine my condition and treatment. I would like to add, that I travel from Rochester to Auburn to see him regularly. I wish he were 25 so that he could continue to practice for my entire life.

One of the rudest doctors I have ever had an encounter with. Every answer you get is generic and pre calculated. He does NOT listen at all. I wish I would of went with my gut instinct after our first encounter. Every question I ever asked him the response was aggressive, snippy and rude. He acted as if I was questioning his credentials and not just a patient wanting to be educated on their health. If you’re looking for a doctor who has compassion and spends time explaining things to patients this doctor is not the one. He actually gets angry and yells at you when you ask questions- completely FLOORED by the aggression disrespect

My initial visit consisted of 70 minutes uninterrupted time reviewing my history and physical exam. Dr. Mirza does his own thyroid ultrasounds right in the office. He is a wealth of knowledge and is very invested in his patient’s overall health… he treats the body, not just the symptoms.

Provides in depth evaluation and treatment beyond the ordinary endocrinologist. Highly recommend for hormone disorders, PCOS, thyroid disease, and insulin resistance. His expertise has dramatically changed my life for the better. After seeing many other doctors, including one who told me I will die young and need to accept it, Dr. Mirza has helped me gain a new lease on life. He told me it wouldn’t be easy, and it has t always been, but it’s been 100% worth it. I am so thankful I found him. He will truly listen and investigate until all options and ideas are exhausted. You will always know you are getting THE BEST care. If it weren’t for him, I wouldn’t be here. He literally saved my life from crippling depression after begging for so long for someone to listen. I don’t know what I will do without him when he retires!

Dr. Mirza disputes any new ideas, discounts other health practitioners, and pushes pharmaceuticals over natural therapies. I felt he talked down to me and ridiculed my ideas.

Doctor Mirza is AMAZING. His ability to diagnose and treat metabolic issues swiftly and properly is life changing. Doctor Mirza is forever educating himself on the most up to date studies and medical findings so he always has a finger on the pulse of what's relevant. He also has an amazing way of looking at things holistically so he is not just administering medications, he explains in great depth and in ways that are easy to understand, what the actual science is behind what is happening with my body and how to improve my condition through proper nutrition and care. I never feel rushed when I see the doc. I really look forward to gaining new insights each time I visit and I look forward to his thorough assessment of the tests and bloodwork he orders ahead of time which he really studies and follows to make sure his patients are at their optimum health. I attribute my success in great part to Doctor Mirza, a true partner in my health, so i can stay energetic and focused.

Dr. Miraz changed my life! Where other doctors handed down a diagnosis, Dr. Miraz asked "why" and got the heart of the heart of the issues so we could fully resolve them instead of just throwing pills at them. Hard work on my end as well as his, I'm grateful to have a TEAM and have him on it! He is ahead of his peers in nutrition's role in health and has spent more time with me than any other physician.

Dr Mirza is the only doctor that helped me to diagnose my mystery diagnosis and help me to overcome secondary infertility. He is professional, patient and thorough. Without his help my son wouldn’t be here. Since becoming his patient I have become the healthiest I’ve ever been. I have had three thyroid biopsies performed by Dr. Mirza. They all were non eventful for me. He is calming and skilled in what he does and I never had any discomfort or worries while he was performing the procedures.

not a nice man, not helpful with my medical problems

The worst bedside manner I've ever seen in a doctor, which is saying a lot. If you don't have diabetes or a gluten issue (or if you follow his advice and still feel ill) then he refuses to keep helping. Incredibly rude and does not care even a little bit. Terrible experience.

Dr. Mirza is fantastic! My 17 year old daughter has been sick her entire life with multiple ailments.She has seen over 30 doctors with many misdiagnoses. She was quite a mystery patient.Dr. Mirza was up for the challenge and promised us he would "crack the code"and not give up on her as all her other doctors have done until he finds the root of the problem. He is educational and takes his time and listens to her. We had insurance issues, he decided to keep us on as patients too. A Godsend!

Doctor Mirza helped to heal my digestive problems by giving incredible attention to me as an individual patient, spending time listening and taking notes, checking on my status through blood work on a bimonthly basis, running other tests, and having me come for regular checkups. He also did an excellent job biopsying a lump on my thyroid. I highly recommend him.
