Great Doctor, So-So Staff Performance
Dr. Rodriguez deserves a 5 rating. The back office staff can be a roller coaster ride, and good help must be hard to find. Not all staff are questionable, but they may outnumber the competent professionals.

Great doctor
Dr Rodriguez is a kind and helpful doctor. She spends time with everyone in my family and is very knowledgeable. Not sure if she is taking new patients but if she is I recommend her as an excellent primary doctor.

Terrible Staff/Good Doc/not worth it
I arrived 5 minutes before my appointment was scheduled. I waited in line for 5-10 minutes. Finally, the office manager looks up from her computer and says, "Do you have an appointment? Sign in and sit down". I obliged, hoping that I wasn't hearing "disrespect" in her voice. I sat and watched several new hires come in from HR and be serviced for their physicals...no biggie. They did not have appointments. I waited...waited some more. Manager calls a man up to the desk (she doesn't call him by name, she yells at him, "Sir!, Sir!" She posed some question to him and he walked out angry. A bit later, it was 49 minutes PAST my appt time and the office manager called me up to the desk to tell me that because I was late and had not filled out paperwork, that I'd have to re-schedule. What in the world? I'd been sitting there for nearly an hour?! Guys, Dr. Rodriguez is a good doctor, but her office staff is terrible. The doctors need to get a hold of their awful employees.

She is an amazing doctor! But...lab billing is awful, making an appointment is next to impossible, on hold anywhere from 15 to 40 minutes...very frustrating...

I think Dr. Rodriquez is AMAZING!! She listens, you don't feel rushed, she's compassionate. Her staff is ok, however that does not reflect the type of doctor she is. She saved my life by simply listening and referring me to a specialist. I have referred several people to her and all have said the love her as well.

I have been calling since the beginning of October and all I get is the answering service. It doesn't matter what day or time it is, I only get the service. I have left messages and still haven't heard back. What kind of practice does this?

I have been a patient of Dr. Rodriguez since she was with Dignity Health. I followed her to her new practice. As someone working in public health I can attest to her skills as a doctor and medical practitioner. She is friendly, compassionate, and takes the time to explain your medical condition(s) and treatment. he is super easy to talk with. With that said, I have found the office staff challenging. They often don't return phone calls. During office hours I can't tell you how many times my call went directly to voice mail and I was not afforded a response to my call. It should be noted this practice is owned by Valley Health Systems, so Dr. Rodriguez has limited say about the office staff.

She’s an ok doctor. Her staff is horrible, they have no compassion for sick people. Referrals never get sent, prescriptions missed, which could make you very sick if you suddenly stop taking them. It’s so sad how healthcare is here in Nevada. Worst customer service ever, I don’t know why Darcy and April are in the healthcare business, they don’t care about the patients. You go in there feeling sick and you end up feeling worse because they don’t give a damn about your condition They make you feel like you’re bothering them when you call.

This place is the worst - I am so terribly disspointed by both the doctor and her staff. First they call in the wrong prescription for me FOUR times. So many times that my insurance wouldn't authorize the correct prescription and I was out hundreds of dollars for prescriptions I couldn't use. They could have killed someone! I didn't even get an apology. Now I am faced with a serious medical emergency and staff tell me I have to wait two months to see her. The doctor is lazy and takes multiple days off every week so patients can never get in. I've reported her practice to the medical board and will be switching doctors immediately. Save yourself the grief and avoid these people.

Dr. Rodriguez is a good doctor and I like her. But dealing with her front and back office is a nightmare. The simplest of task seem difficult for them. Being left on hold for 15 minutes, no returned calls and referrals to the wrong dr.s are just some of the frustrations that are common.

I wish I could review about my visit... Another crap experience with the medical field in Las Vegas... book an appt over a month ago for a new patient for my wife and I. They call me two weeks before and say that she will now be out of the office... claiming an emergency...two weeks early?!?! Nothing for us until September.. seriously... this is a joke. Hope she has a great vacation... on to my next place...

Very, knowledgeable, professional, very pleasant demeanor, and definitely has the best interests of her patient in mind. She treats you as a person, not a number. She takes the time necessary to provide a patient with an understanding of their condition and treatment. She does not rush you as if there's some sort of quota to fill or a maximum time limit that must be observed, per patient.

She gives her opinion, but listens to ideas & questions. Doesn't push prescriptions & respects her patients. She takes her time with you & doesn't keep you waiting. She's friendly, caring & helpful. My whole family agrees. Her Asst Lourdes is incompetent! Doesn't return calls, give messages or do paperwork correctly-not even when ordering tests. We had switch drs when she left & Mercado is a disappointment. Complete opposite of a good dr.
