Dr. Shirley Bennett, MD

I had a LEEP procedure done, and Dr Bennett didn't let the numbing take/add more that I needed and instead said "Let's just get this done" while I literally screamed. Regular visits were short and rough.

Been going to this Dr. for years for routine exams. What I have been disappointed in is that when a real medical conversation is needed, such as an abnormal pap or mammogram or the need to immediately cease a medication, it is not Dr. Bennett who has these conversations, I’ve received calls from the office staff to receive this news and on two very specific instances, I was given negative news by Morgan who is neither equipped to answer my questions nor is she well trained in human relations or delivering that type of news.

Front desk staff and "office manager' were very rude. I switched providers after dealing with the rude behavior too many times.

I can't say enough good things about this doctor. She is so patient and gentle and answered all of my questions to put my mind at ease.

Dr. Bennett is friendly and attentive. I never feel as though I'm rushed in my appointment time with her - which is rare! She listens and consults openly with a wealth of knowledge as an OB/GYN. I would highly recommend Dr. Bennett to any patient who is looking for a quality physician.

Dr. Bennett was my OB and delivered my baby. I was disappointed in the amount of care and time she gave me on each of my visits. I waited 20-30 min for her to come into the room after I saw the nurse and she gave me 4 minutes each time, I timed them. She never once called me by my name. Out of 10+ visits, only asked if I had questions 2x and rushed through them. I was really upset this was my experience for my first child. I chose her without a recommendation so I wanted to share my experience.

Dr. Bennett is one of the best GYNs out there. She is very caring and has a lot of knowledge. Explained everything to me in a way that I felt comfortable when leaving my visit. Her nurse and the entire staff are wonderful. Always helpful and they know how to make their patients feel comfortable for their visits.

Dr. Bennett and her amazing staff are the best! Stephanie, her nurse, is awesome! Holly, the receptionist, is so helpful! I love Dr. Bennett and recommend her to all my friends and family!

I clearly visited the doctor for well women's exam only she spent not more than 10 minutes listening to my medial condition and it was clearly showing she is so much towards money and very much reluctant to pay attention towards me. after that I never visited her again and She has processed the bill as regular office visit not as wellness annual exam. The worst physician I have ever visited.

I had a BAD experience!!! I was scheduled for the annual exam (it took 3 months to get in). After waiting for an hour, in the waiting area and inside, (and rescheduled because she had an emergency) Dr. Bennett was careless, in rush and very hard doing the check. She refused to do the Pap smear, like was her decision not mine. She was in such rush that I stopped her on her way out and asked her to check my breasts, really!!!!! I do NOT recommend her, and for sure I'm not going back!

Office staff very rude, doctor did not explain complications. All around horrible experience in this office.

Wonderful! I had a lump in my left breast, she directed me to University doctors. All of the doctors took very good care of me and I am very grateful to them. Also, she has been my OB/GYN for about 20 years and delivered both of my children. Overall, she is a great person as well as a knowledgeable doctor. I would definitely recommend her. She has a very kind and caring manner when handling delicate situations.

She is wonderful , kind and intelligent . Her office staff is very helpful and friendly . There isn't a better Doctor out there !
