Dr. Shilpa Reddy, DO

Was seen by her Nurse PRN, who was very nice and professional. However, he went to her and was told by her what I needed to do. I had already planned an out-of-town trip for my granddaughter's birthday and planned on doing it when I returned home. I took the pill but not the citrate when I got home and was up all night in the bathroom (I can only think what it would have been if I had drunk the citrate. I was so exhausted and weak I was NOT able to work the next day. My bowel movements were water. Come the next day I was nauseous and ended up getting sick at work, so I called and left a message to have the nurse call me, I wanted to see if the Dr would prescribe something for nausea. I was told NO because I did not complete the procedure as told, even though the pill did clean me out and I had a normal bowel movement today. She whether me suffer with throwing up and nausea than prescribe me medication to help the symptoms.

I always thought she was an excellent doctor. I went to her for several years when I lived in Panama City Beach. I wish she would move to Albany Ga. She always listened and explained everything. She was so helpful.

The office staff were pleasant and I did not have a long wait. Unfortunately I can echo the comments made by other reviewers who had a negative experience. It wasn’t a good fit so I will find another doctor.

Very thorough, accuracy in patient diagnosis, great care, and easy to comprehend each encounter, and as always the best care is provided. Saved my life.

She is the most rude and condescending Dr. I have ever seen. She literally brought me to tears. I think she should have went into a profession in which it doesn't matter if you care about people.

Dr. Reddy is the most unprofessional doctor I have ever crossed paths with. She is rude, condescending, constantly talks over you and if you go in a procedure room with her do not expect her to explain the procedure to you. As others have said, I was in tears the two times I saw her and I will never go back. I would not recommend her to anyone.

She is a very caring doctor. She found my problem quickly and prescribed medication for it. I have and will continue to recommend her.

After five appointments since November 2021, I can provide a thorough evaluation. If you are looking for a doctor who: 1. Is consistently over-booked. Wait times are a minimum of 45-minutes, and as much as one and a half hours. When you finally get in to see Dr. Reddy, she is too backlogged to spend more than the bare minimum of time with you. 2. Provides minimal communication and instruction unless you explicitly ask, and then when she does respond, she acts like she cannot believe you would dare waste her time with such ignorant drivel. 3. Is curt, condescending, and dismissive. Never in my life have I ever met a doctor with such an abysmal bedside manner. If all that sounds appealing to you, then Dr. Shilpa C. Reddy at Digestive Diseases Center is the doctor for you! Good luck.

Dr. Reddy constantly talked over me. She was irritated when I would ask a question and downplayed my concerns. My mom was with me and tried to ask questions. She kept talking to my mom like she was stupid and that her questions didn't make any sense. I was crying by the time I got to my car. I'd never see this lady again.

Dr. Shilpa Reddy is awesome. She takes her time and explains everything. I have been her patient for 5 years and she has taken great care of me.

I felt completely at ease with Dr Reddy. She is very professional and I would recommend her to anyone needing to see a gastroenterologist.

Totally misdiagnosed my 92 year old mother by not taking the time to examine her properly. This is causing a delay in her treatment along with an unnecessary visit to a surgeon. Would not recomend. My mo th her has a prolapsed rectum which was diagnosed as a prolapsed hemerroid.

Dr. Reddy is great. Very easy to talk with, she takes time to explain.

Dr Reddy had seen my husband for over a year and never found out why he had diarrhea for over a year.. He ended up in the hospital and they said he had c-diff.. My husband has requested another doctor and all the others are concerned about is Dr . Reddy’s feelings instead of how the patient is feeling..

I am very happy with the experience I had with Dr. Reddy and her Staff. Everyone was very caring, professional, and they really helped guide me through a time when I needed it most. I would definitely recommend Dr. Reddy and the Digestive Disease Center!
