Excellency Doctor !
My first visit I was terrified and my anxiety level was through the roof. Upon meeting Dr Gulati I immediately felt calmer and more at ease . She explained everything and let me know what the future plan was going to be . Her kind and calm demeanor made my appointment go smoothly .I highly recommend Dr. Gulati for your eye care if you go to New England Retina Consultants !

The Most Fantastic Hour of My Life
Earlier this year I was diagnosed with a macular hole in my left eye and was scheduled for surgery with Dr. Gulati.Although I previously completed two (2) craniotomies, I was nervous for this upcoming operation (more than a craniotomy). The anesthesiologist explained to me that it would be painless and to have no fear.Whereas 95% of the patients go temporarily blind in the eye that is being worked on, I was one of the fortunate few.The next hour watching the needle and thread repair my eye was the most fascinating hour of my life. The operation was painless, fascinating and a total success.I wish to thank Dr. Gulati for saving my eyesight and leading me on the most fantastic journey of my life.

A Great Experience
Everything about our experience with Dr. Gulati, both at the New England Retina Consultants clinic and at Baystate Medical Center, was as positive as it could be. Dr. Gulati’s interactions with us both before and after my wife’s surgery was comforting and reassuring. She helped us to understand the problem with Daryl’s retinal tear and gave us a clear understanding of the procedure to repair her eye. We are very happy that we chose Dr. Gulati for Daryl’s care and would recommend Dr. Gulati to any prospective patients.

Amazing Provider
I am a current patient at New England Retina Consultants and I see Dr. Shilpa Gulati. I am extremely happy with the care I have received with her. When I started at the office I was almost considered legally blind in my left eye and poor vision in my right eye and because of Dr. Gulati she has brought my vision up to 20/60 in my left eye and 20/40 in my right eye which is a major improvement. She is caring and always makes sure to answer all and any questions I may have. If your eye doctor recommends you visit New England Retina I recommend seeing Dr. Gulati. Again I am extremely happy with my care from Dr. Gulati. Paul T

She has been treating me for macular degeneration for well over a year. She made getting eye injections tolerable. I also discovered one eye has actually improved vision wise.

Best Possible Experience
An emergency visit late Friday to an optometrist resulted in a Saturday appointment with Dr Gulati. She was unhurried, warm, articulate, comprehensive, and reassuringly professional. Dr Gulati repaired my torn retina on-site and came in especially on Sunday for a follow-up check on the procedure. I had three more check-ups that were invariably prompt and were scheduled by a courteous front office to accommodate my work. I always felt I was being given the best care possible and that my concerns and questions were listened to carefully and responded to with kindness and knowledge. I would very highly recommend Dr Gulati and her team.

Excellent
Wonderful! Dr. Gulati saved my vision in my left eye. I was very close to a full retinal detachment when I went into her office. She methodically explained all options to me and I put my complete trust in her. She made me high priority and I never had to wait for an appointment when I called the office. During my first visit I was nervous and shaken because my daughter was getting married within 2 months and I was afraid that I wouldn't be able to see her walk down the aisle. Dr. Gulati assured me that she would take very good care of me which she absolutely did. She is very caring and gentle and I trust her implicitly. We have a care plan in place and I feel very blessed to have found her.

When I experienced a vision-threatening retinal detachment, I was extremely fortunate to receive care and treatment from Dr. Gulati. She explained the situation in depth, in a way that was easy to understand, and her professional skill in treating my complicated case was exemplary, saving my vision.
