Dr Shrestha is a caring professional physician. We moved here 2 years ago and needed a new doctor. My daughter and son recommended Dr Shrestha. She is very personable-she always takes time to listen to me and answers all my questions. I’m type 2 diabetic for 7 years and she was able to reduce my A1C to 5.9-stopped taking 2 medications and lost almost 10 pounds! My entire family enjoy our doctor visits and respect her medical judgement. I’m sure she is a great asset to physicians primary care. When she changed offices to college parkway we went with her. If you need a caring professional doctor she is the one.

Dr. Shrestha is the WORST!! 1. After asking for my medication for nearly three months with multiple visits, it’s still not squared away. I get no response when I message her through the portal. 2. She has misinformation in my file that she has yet to correct. 3. She tells me one thing and then does another. 4. She diagnosed me with tension headaches and prescribed two medications that worked and then refused to fill them and told me to ask my neurologist. These all all separate instances. It’s like dealing with someone bipolar- you don’t know what you’re going to get! It’s not worth the time or money to deal with this dr! I’ll be looking for someone who cares and listens to their patients. It shouldn’t be this much work!

Dr. Shrestha and her staff were great. my father had a lot of issues so I wasn’t expecting to go over as much as we did in one visit. She was great!

It took my husband almost 3 months to get this appointment as a new patient , she did not seat to listen to his concerns and did not prescribe his medicine

Firstly Dr. Shrestha went out of the way to accommodate her schedule which I was not expecting. She genuinely answered all of my questions and I never felt rushed at any moment. Her proficiency was evident as she was meticulous with her exams. Highly recommend her. Some of my friends and family already visit her. The only thing I am worried about is I might have to move to another state next year and will surely miss her. Hope I find someone like her. Fingers crossed.

Dr. Shrestha is absolutely terrible. I moved from another state and she did not bother to go through my medical history with me thoroughly. She simply told me I need to be on less medications, but did not offer any constructive treatment plans or alternatives. She also refused to refill a medication that I have been on for years (and that I told her I was on when I first went to see her). She never indicated she would not fill this medication for me. Instead, she told me to seek treatment from a neurologist for my headaches. I've been under the care of neurologists for over two years (and have one in Florida now), and if she had bothered to listen to me or read what I wrote on my intake forms she would know this. Steer clear unless you are in perfect health.

Dr. Shrestha usually ordered lab work for me before the appointment date and she went over the report on the day of visit. So, unlike other doctors, I do not need another appointment just to go over the report. That is the best part I had with her. I had 2 doctors before her and she is the best one so far I had. If you looking for family physicians, just see her once!! You will not look another Internal medicine.

Dr. Shika is a great doctor! She’s very understanding and listens to your concerns. She takes time with the patient to help them with their health issues! She is a very excellent doctor I highly recommend her to anyone looking for a doctor
