Life Changing
I went to see Dr. Sherry Lu while on a nursing travel assignment. I have been struggling with plantar warts for over 2.5 years. She suggested the Swift machine. I saw progress in the first session. I had a total of 3 sessions with Dr. Lu. I can finally walk around everyday and not have pain in my feet!

Informed Friendly & Efficient
Dr. Lu fully assessed my potentially fractured foot and went above and beyond to make sure that she diagnosed me correctly. She explained everything in a manner that I could understand and gave me a clearly defined prognosis as well as diagnosis. Her office staff and team were very friendly and accommodating as well. They were able to see me same day without complaint. They also gave me a new patient gift bag which I thought was sweet, pun intended. Thank you Dr. Lu and to your amazing staff!

Terrible experience
Do not use Dr. Lu, had a small callous that was causing pain, she removed it and the next few days noticed pain. called to have her fix it she would not without another $150. I already paid $150 the first time, also at my visit I wanted to ask her about my toenail and she wouldn't even look at it without another visit! She spent a total of 10 minutes with me as i waited for 45 minutes to see her. Absolutely in it for the money!

Poor bedside manner - no issue resolution
I went to Dr. Lu due to big toe nail detachment. I have dealt with fungus on same nails since before 2009 (first time actively tried to address). In first visit, she provided no information until she would take sample to send for test. She actually gets irritated after asking too many questions of which she would not answer. As an engineer, problem solver, question asker, unfortunately it appears that she did not know the answers to the questions and hence why she takes such aggressive tone. I would not have gone back for 2nd appointment, but had to in order to get test results because they would not give over phone. Second appointment she said not fungus and gave no explanation or indication of anything to do. She did give me oral med for fungal infection because I asked for it but told me it wouldn't work because I didn't have fungus. She didn't tell me what would though, but tried to upsell me to buy her biotin when I asked if it helped nails grow faster.

Very poor bedside manner.
Dr. Lu comes across as unfriendly and uncaring almost hostile. Her exam was overly rough and very painful. I opted out of any further treatment from her for my ingrown toenail due to lack of trust. I hope that she doesn’t treat all of her patients in this manner.

Upsells you on medication for additional revenue. the podiatrist has a condescending and dismissive tone. She didnt explain the condition or provide any insight. When I asked how many visits it will take to treat my condition, she said she didnt know (not even an estimate). Horrible she has an attitude  when you ask questions. Feels like she rushed me out the office TWICE. I ended up finding a better provider. This podiatrist has no bedside manner.

I went for help with my flat feet causing pain in my legs. One of the people behind the desk asked me confidential medical questions out loud in the waiting room. It was off putting to say the least. I asked Dr. Lu about what she was looking at while she was examining my feet and she didn't answer in any sort of depth. She gave me medicine and didn't explain what it did. She left me with an assistant to show me some stretches and when I told the assistant that I couldn't do a stretch because of how my foot is shaped she said "Just hold your foot straighter" which I cannot do, because, hello, flat feet. Dr. Lu had a condescending and dismissive tone when she called to check in she didn't listen to my complaints or explain the how or why of anything. It was a waste of time and money.

She removed an ingrown toenail. It was been draining for 3 weeks. She applied so much acid that the skin all around the nail is burned and hurts still. My toe is only 30% healed after 3 weeks. Another podiatrist removed the ingrown toenail on the other foot and it did not drain and healed completely in 2 weeks. I do not recommend her.
