Unreliable Appointments
Dr Marceus is very patient and kind. She seems very empathetic, and appointments are on time, when they are not cancelled. I scheduled my annual exam months ago and it has been rescheduled three times due to Dr Marceus' emergencies or on-call duties. At least this is what I am told by the rude representatives on the other end of the phone. I understand the importance of her assisting with emergencies and birth, but perhaps there is another way to schedule her patients. The office staff are not accommodating and quite rude under the circumstances. The responses are matter of fact and lean towards, well there's nothing I can do. It is frustrating to take time off of work only to have your appointment cancelled 50 minutes prior to.

canceled on my 5 minutes before my appointment twice in the same week. was on the phone with her staff for about a half an hour in the parking lot and they were extremely rude and condescending. wouldn’t know if she’s a good doctor, apparently this type of last second cancellation is common with her according to the (rude) nurse.

Dr. Marceus is one of a kind. She takes the time to know you as a person and not simply a patient. She is professional, caring, conscientious, and knowledgeable. I’ve been to good gynos but she truly is one of my favorites. I would highly recommend.
