Reception Area Rated NC-17
Worst reception experience I've had and I'm over 50 so I've seen plenty of doctors and waiting rooms. The receptionists trash talk Dr. El-Masry's patients. I can hear them calling one person a fa***ing psycho and a weirdo right now. I'd shrug it off... if it was just once, but I've been here 3x and these billing/reception people make me uncomfortable every time. Another time I was here for an appointment on a Friday morning and there were already 20 people in the waiting room when I arrived. Over an hour later, there were even more people and I was still waiting. There is only one doctor. Clearly they're overbooked at the convenience of the doctor and the inconvenience of his patients. That's why I gave them the lowest rating. For urology, Dr. El-Masry seems fine.

Dr. El Masry has always treated me professionally and with concern for several years. Many of his diagnostic exams can be done at the office. He is very knowledgeable about his specialty. I gave him a 4 vs. a 5 because of the wait times once you are at the office. Plan on being there for a while and not in a hurry.

My disabled uncle had an awful experience with the staff and this doctor. He was so upset and in tears tonight telling my mom. The doctor roughed him up, he talked down to him regarding his disability and when my uncle cried the secretary told him to get out and not come back. Very unprofessional, never had an experience like that before anywhere. These people shouldn’t be in the business of treating patients.

This office is terrible. I do not recommend anyone to see him. First of all, you will not be seen by the doctor until almost TWO HOURS after your appointment. Absolutely ridiculous. Second off, the girls at the front desk are jokes. They sit around laughing, facetimeing friends, and eating. Took about 5 minutes until they noticed me standing there waiting to fill out paperwork. He also is very rushed. Doesn't feel good at all when a doctor walks in, speaks for a minute, and walks right back out.

For years now I've been seen for my prostate problem and I'm tired of having tests done and not getting results. I have had to reschedule appointments several times after going to the office and waiting more than an hour to be seen. Then after an hour being called into his office and waiting another hour to see anyone. I also think it's unprofessional for his wife and children to be walking around the back patient area when patients are waiting to be seen.

Dr. El-Masry is personable and takes a sincere interest in the welfare of his patients. My only complaint may be waiting time on the day of the appointment, but that's a consequence of office's willingness to schedule appointments promptly and Dr. Masry's spending adequate time with his patients.
