Today, I spoke with the office manager at Dr Patel's office. Within 5 minutes of our conversation, he told me that my son, their patient, was not their patient, hadn't been seen in over a year, AND he was lying to me. First, my son just started going to them in March (not more than a year ago). Secondly, my son had been seen by the doctor as recently as August 2024, AND his last prescription, which was issued and signed by Dr. Patel and sent electronically to the same pharmacy as it has always been, was in November 2024. And he said I was lying - without even looking at my son's record.

Hands down the worst psychiatrist I've ever seen. Did not listen- didn't even give enough time for me to talk about my symptoms, prior treatments, what led me in that day, etc. No explanation of treatment, just blind prescribing of medication without care to history or side-effects. All around a terrible doctor.

This woman made me sit in her waiting room for over an hour before seeing me. I was harassed by another patient and she didn't even bother to apologize. She incorrectly filled out my prescriptions TWICE, and the pharmacy was treated so poorly by her staff that they actually called me. Again, no apology. In fact, the staff was rude to me when I contacted them asking for an appointment change, and are completely incompetent.

×Post a ResponseAre you Dr. Patel?
Dr. Patel does not listen to her patients or even discuss medication options with them. She has a very narrow focus of medications she uses despite bad affects and reactions to the agents she is prescribing these agents too. I made many requests to change the medications due to bad affect and instead she would add a new one and not respond to my calls.
