Dr. Abraham is a hospitalist at Lafayette Gen. & she's the sole reason I(as well as my entire circle of family & friends)will never go back to that hospital again! Even if I ignored the fact that she claimed my son's appendix is located on the far left side of his abdomen, I STILL take great issue with her bedside manner. I'm not a mother that needs to be cosseted. I don't need a dr to be friendly or even nice. But I do need them to be knowledgeable & for them to have the tiniest modicum of compassion for her patients that suffer terribly painful diseases. She stood there & let my son scream in agony as opposed to giving him a reasonable dosage of pain medication. A dosage that every other physician, besides her, deems necessary to help mitigate the pain of his condition. Her reason was that she felt "uncomfortable" administering that dosage. She was well within her right to refuse my son meds. Just as I'm well within my right to NEVER return to Laf Gen. because of that cruel *****

Horrible bedside manner, and doesn't show the least bit if compassion towards her patients. Her personality does NOT belong in the medical field
