Dr. Shelley Durham, DO

Is she even a real doctor?? I don’t think so

My experience with Dr Durham is exceptional. She is a very thorough & caring professional. That is VERY hard to find in this day & age. She has called me at midnight with lab results because she knew I was very anxious about the results. She goes above & beyond. She is also my adult daughter’s doctor. They hate to go to the doctor but they are very comfortable & trustworthy of Dr Durham. Her prices are also fair for everything she offers.

This doctor was amazing. I was thoroughly impressed with her compassion for my condition and professionalism. She has an excellent bedside manner. Looking forward to having a relationship with a doctor I trust for years to come.

This Doctor is very unprofessional and simply doesn't care about her patients. She acts like she does, but honestly doesn't. We had a situation with my daughter with some lab work and they refused to do lab-work on site until a payment was collected. I attempted to negotiate payment and they said they would not do anything about it until a payment was submitted. It escalated and the doctor decided to call CPS and law enforcement on me. Please be aware of what you are getting into when you go on site to her practice. They will use these scare tactics on you to get you to submit to them and really don't care about the individual patient. This is even more so if you are a minority. This doctor is also the same person who decided to switch my daughters medication and didn't even notify her actual psychiatric doctor of it and during the summer it was a big issue and all she could come up and say was that she forgot.

I tried to update my previous negative review of Dr. Durham's office but it would not let me, so I am adding a new review. I spoke with Dr. Durham and her office manager after I made the negative review, and they addressed each of my concerns. I scheduled an appointment with her and her staff was able to verify my insurance benefits appropriately. At my appointment Dr. Durham spent a full hour with me, taking my history, brainstorming ideas about some of my medical problems, and determining appropriate specialists for me to see for follow up. She was detailed and compassionate. I recommend her with no reservations.
