Very well run office, kind and caring doctor

Being so young with cancer in my early 30’s i had a lot taken away from me. But not my life… because of LA CANCER NETWORK including Dr VASAN and nurse practitioner POLY AND OF COURSE ALL THE STAFF MEMBERS HAVE BEEN NOTHING BUT A BLESSING AND ON TOP OF MY TREATMENT. If I ever have any concerns they are addressed and anything I may need help with I am helped on a very timely manner :)

If you cannot handle the amount of customers new and old in your practice why is your front office accepting referrals from doctors? You are putting innocent lives at risk for lack of proper care by taking new patients while leaving those you are already seeing with below average care. You are the reason our health care system is failing. Doctors like you are money hungry, rushed, and indifferent. Shame on you Dr. Vasan.

Dr. Vasan has provided top-notch, exceptional service and support! She takes the time to review results thoroughly, explains things very well, listens to my needs, and carefully answers all of my questions. Words cannot express my deep gratitude to Dr. Vasan as well as her wonderful nurses and excellent office staff! They have all made this experience as comfortable and efficient as possible. My treatment is going incredibly well, and I would enthusiastically recommend Dr. Vasan to all of my friends and family!

Dr Vasan is so caring and compassionat. She fully explains everything and answers all of your questions. It's great to have a doc on your side cheering you on

I was treated by Dr. Vasan’s father prior to his passing and was so happy to see his daughter continue his practice in oncology. Sheila is very caring and always puts me at ease with excellent healthcare and follow up. Also her office is immaculate and the staff is wonderful. I highly recommend them both.

Dr. Vasan tells you the results over the phone. Rather then in person. Scheduling is a joke . They sent me appointments through the mail .No concern of my availability, a phone call would help, howeverThe LA cancer call center is no help either by scheduling an in person visit on a Monday and before the appointment receive a call on late Friday afternoon that the appt is cancelled and she is not available. Lack of care

Dr. Vasan is the best! When I was diagnosed with Stage 4 lung cancer, I thought life was over, and Dr. Vasan gave me so much hope and encouragement at the darkest time of my life. She has been my oncologist for nearly four years now and she and her staff are so helpful to whatever I need. She has literally saved my life and I am so grateful for her patience, her knowledge and skills, and her casual friendly manner that immediately makes you feel at ease. I love her!

LACN is awesome, I have been going every 3 weeks for 20 months. Dr. Vasan and the team she has assembled for me are the best in the world. They have literally saved my life from Stage 4 Colon Cancer and have made this journey smooth, comfortable, and unafraid.

As of this writing, I have been a patient of Dr Sheila Vasan for approximately 6 months, for the treatment of my specific and rare bone marrow cancer. Dr Vasan is an extremely patient, compassionate and down to earth Oncologist for which I have tremendous respect. She does not mince words and informs you of what is involved in the treatment. She is engaged when answering the simplest of your questions or concerns. I would recommend Dr Vasan without hesitation, for your Oncological needs.

I saw Dr. Vasan today for a second opinion. Dr. Vasan listened to me, and she later gave me detailed description of my condition. She called the imaging place that did my second biopsy to find out my results and was proactive. I loved her. She was kind and understanding. I did not feel like another number. I felt like a human being, and I felt she cared. I highly recommend her. I also got into the office before my appointment. I did not have to wait. Great customer service. I'm very happy with her.

Dr. Vasan treated and is still treating my elderly mom for breast cancer. Dr. Vasan is wonderful. She is very knowledgeable, truly cares about her patients, and does not tire of answering questions and comforting. I feel that my mom is in great hands and am so very thankful to Dr. Vasan!

Dr. Vasan is a great Oncologist. She is treating my mom and is thorough and extremely competent. Of course no one ever wants to visit an Oncologist, but one must be objective and admit shes's a great doctor.

Dr. Vasan is my hero! She's incredibly smart, sensitive and brilliant as both a physician and a person. She helped me fight my cancer and was always warm and honest. I literally trust her with my life, and can't recommend her enough! And her staff is super professional and helpful.
