great doctor but long wait times
I love Dr. Sungurlu. She listens to you and actually cares about what you are going thru. My only complaint would be that you have to wait weeks to months for an appt so if it's urgent, you are likely not going to be able to get an appt with her. Beaumont Taylor will usually pawn you off to a different doctor or tell you to go to urgent care or the ER which can be very expensive.

A doctor that actually listens to you.
I really got lucky when choosing a new primary doctor. I was really nervous for my first initial visit because it was my first time going to the doctors as an adult. Her office made me feel very welcomed & she took her time talking to me about any issues I was having. I literally recommend her to everyone & now I have multiple friends that go to her. Highly recommend.

I was a transfer patient. She miswrote the dosage of one of my meds to twice the amount that I had been taking. When I called the office to discuss with her, no return call. So, I went to the practice and was very specific when I would be available and at what phone number. She had an office staff call a different number and leave a message that she had written it wrong. Prior to this, she ordered a mammogram and did NOT tell me the type was not common and that I would need to go to a particular center to get it done. So, when I made an appointment at a facility that did not have the machine and had her rewrite the script, the office staff demanded to know why the type she ordered "wasn't good enough"? What? How about because she never told me about it. Her ability to communicate was abysmal and actually health threatening. Will not be returning.

I think she is wonderful! Very personable, does everything to address your concerns, always very pleasant I could not ask for a better primary doctor! I am always happy to have an appointment with Dr. Sungurlu!!
