Dr. Sheena Carllee, MD

I have recently switched to Dr. CarlLee as my primary care physician. Honestly, I have never had a doctor who is as thorough as she is. As a 63-year-old woman w/ a chronic illness, I tend to have a variety of issues going on, and she keeps better track of them than I do. I think she is super impressive and I am really glad I have her in my corner as I age.

I became so critically ill last winter that I dropped to 87 lb and lost the ability to walk and care for myself over several months. Dr. Carllee stated she was ordering diagnostic testing and making referrals over several visits, but she never did. I waited for testing, I waited for the results of bloodwork she never ordered, and I waited for referrals she never made. If I had known she was not following through on her stated intentions and had, in fact, already dismissed my condition as psychosomatic, I could have found another provider at an earlier date, preventing my critical decline. Instead, she quietly dismissed my very real health conditions as psychosomatic for months before making an actual psych referral. When I started having seizures, instead of evaluating me, she again told me to see a psychiatrist. I did. They cleared me and told me to find a new doctor. I don’t have room to finish this account, but I nearly died in her care. Find another doctor.

This provider will not do a thorough exam. She was contacted by my previous healthcare provider after a medical records request and, on the second, visit was insisting that I had no physical health problems that they were mental based on information received from the previous provider who also failed to even get other medical records and insisted I have a serious mental health condition.
