Failed rotary cuff surgery
I came to him for 2nd opinion on rotary cuff surgery. He walked and said “ you have 15 min of my time and that’s it. Part of the time he talked abt his Dr friends in CA. He did rotary cuff surgery and after a few months and many PT sessions, I could tell it was unsuccessful. This was my 3rd rotary cuff surgery. He became angry. Then when I suggested an MRI to determine he hostily said if that’s what you want, go get one. I did….it was unsuccessful. My husband was at every visit as my witness. This occurred in fall of 2019. Never spoke to him again as he moved after my last visit and I had no knowledge of where.

Don't live with shoulder pain, see Dr Hennigan!
First, the speed of getting in for an appointment, I saw Dr Hennigan on the first visit. I received incredible attention from him as well as the whole staff! I was booked for a reverse total shoulder replacement that first visit. They were able to get into surgery in barely over a month. They arranged every single detail of my pre-op testing, all I had to do was show up, this team is a well oiled machine! I received my new shoulder Oct 30 '23 and as I'm writing this I'm just 16 days with my new shoulder, and it's amazing! They arm you with a full plan, all written out in easy to follow steps, and I'm so happy with my results! Do not live with the pain, call Dr Hennigan and get started. It's so worth it!

Worked on broken hip. Did not do a good job at all. Good thing that now he only specializes in shoulders.

I heard from my friends that work at our local hospital that he knows his stuff. However, my personal experience with him was one of the worst ever. It took 45 min to see him, I asked a question and he answered "Do you have an hour?, because I don't" seriously condescending. He may know his "stuff" but how would I know if he just brushed me off. I have a busy life and took off of work to make this appointment. I was really looking forward to some answers from this "specialist".

I had a complete shoulder replaced in Dec 2014 and was amazed at how well he and his staff did. Follow up appointments showed to me his care and concern extended far beyond the actual surgery. Thank you all very much. I happily and highly recommend his expertise. Chris M

I have been with Dr. Hennigan since 2008. He performed rotator cuff surgery on me after another surgeon attempted to repair my problem earlier in 2008 but could not find the tear. His skills and understanding of a patient's problem is remarkable and he goes the extra mile to make sure his diagnosis is medically proven before he proceeds with surgery. Would highly recommend him for any shoulder problems.

About Me

care philosophy

``Even though I may appear informal at times during a visit, I take my patients' problems quite seriously. I realize the impact that our decisions will have on the outcome of the treatment. I want to make sure that I do for them the same way that I would have done for me or my family.``
