Well…he cured my kidney cancer and then got rid of my kidney stone issues so I’d give him 10 stars if I could. I’d prefer having an expert like Dr. Beck handling my health issues rather than a Dr. Congeniality.

Mr. Sean S hea
I had a medical procedure involving a camera. I told the Dr. I couldn't take the pain. Dr. Beck yelled at me and asked me if I want the procedure done correctly. What could I say, at this time I had a out of body experience f r om the Truma and Anxiety. I ended up hospitalized in a manic episode. Dr. Beck never returned my call to see if it was normal to urinate blood wit b clots in it after 3 hours. Dr. Park returned my after hours within 15 minutes and asked if I was taking blood thinners. I said yes as he advised me to stop and follow up with my primary Doctor. I can't believe Dr. Beck treats children, I would feel bad for any parent that wo I ld have to deal with his terrible bedside manner

Considerable attention paid to diagnosis and prognosis of my issues. Willing to listen to my comments on differential treatments. Always prefer causally rude bedside manner to casually wrong diagnosis. I find such complaints, to the extent they are true, are irrelevant to treatment outcomes.

Believe the terrible reviews here. Pediatric appt for 9 y.o. girl. I tried to tell him about all the trauma we have experienced around these Urology issues but either he didn’t listen or he didn’t care. He was horrible, condescending, aggressive, and hostile. He completely dismissed my concerns, blamed my daughter for her Urology troubles, and tried to terrify us of the results if we didn’t do as he said. He didn’t even have the courtesy to introduce himself when he came in. He barged in, demanded, “What’s your problem? Why are you here today?” and after I protested about his aggressive interrogation of my daughter he told me, “I don’t care if you don’t like me, I just need to get this fixed.” I’m beside myself with outrage at how we were treated. My daughter left in tears she was so scared and he shamed her so profusely. I can’t believe he even has a practice still if he treats people like that. Go ANYwhere else!

This is the worst Dr. visit I have ever experienced in my life and it wasn't even for me. It was for my 5 yr. old son. There is so much to say, I am overwhelmed with the negative emotions I'm feeling. First of all, there was no such intro. from this man for us coming. He came into the room and sat on top of the trashcan and didn't notify me of why he was interrogating me regarding my son's medical history. He neglected to mention that he never received his medical records and was so rude with how I am following up with Dr. visits because my son's back is bothering him. Second of all, he bossed around my son and spoke to him like he was an adult. He made me and my son feel so completely uncomfortable. This man acted like I was an idiot and spoke to me like I went to medical school. Of course I know about my son's history but this man's arrogance is being over-shadowed by his expertise. Never in my life would I recommend him to people needs specialist care in this field; I regret going!

Poor bedside manner, like experience and laughable review of medical status typical of a doctor last in class. I would not recommend this doctor to my worst enemy.

Dr. Beck does come across as aloof and will snap at you when he speaks but he's good at what he does and despite how gruff he comes across, I believe 100% that he cares about his patients. My current theory is that he gets short with you when he can't do any more to help you and he is frustrated about it. His nurses can be cold at best and rude at worst. It's not a warm, fuzzy place but I don't go to see him for warm and fuzzy. I see him for medical help and he's really good at that.
