Pain management is a hard battle with current war on opioid’s,doctors and pain patients. Dr. Chowdhari is excellent. You will have to wait at times. He accepts Medicaid and for that I am grateful. ??

Grateful to have a doctor that actually helps

I have visited the doctor's office twice and the doctor will not listen to anything I have to say. Has twice prescribed me meds I cannot take and then tells me I have to just return in 2 weeks to get something different but won't tell me the meds he's prescribing. He's just trying to get as many medical visits paid for as he can. Two visits with no help. The doctor is also exceptionally rude on top of not listening to you. If you can find any other pain management doctor that will take your insurance, go to them instead.

Current wait time at 3 hours with an appointment and they all left for lunch. Chaotic waiting area full of people looks like a bad scene out of the 70’s. Filthy rundown location with a sign I. The bathroom that says “do not flush toilet paper.” Really. There is no way to contact a human by phone, there is no concern for the care and well being of human beings.

His office barely ever answers their phone. Dr is rude and has no interest in helping chronic pain. He doesn't talk to patients longer than 2 minutes. Go to anyone els to help pain, besides him. Wasted a day, to get told I needed to schedule with *the girls' instead of leaving happyI left still hurting and been for almost a week without pain meds. DON'T Waste your valuable time with this loser.

I been coming here on an off But let me start by saying Yes theres a long wait to see doctor But have you noticed he has alot of patients that see himAlot of people do have serious conditions Me from dealing with Spinal stenosis To bulging disc Herniated disc and so on. Im happy to know theres a pain management doctor here in Tampa When i have a question he always answers it for me. He has never been rude to me. I believed they way you talk to people is the same way they will talk to youI have done procedures here And yes they do sting for a bitBut it helps me. The staff are outstanding There always busy I see this Doctor every 2 weeks I have seen so many crasy reactions here by patients Keep up the good work

This message is for Dr. Chowdhari. I came to your office yesterday for my appointment but there was a new girl sitting at the front reception desk where we sign in upon arrival, she told me that I have to pay 25 $ fine because I was not able to come on 11/21 on my previous appointment or otherwise I will never see the doctor again. I show her my phone log that I did called the office and told the girl on the phone that I am not feeling well and I will not be able to drive and come to my appointment so we reschedule it for today, she said since i did not call 48 hours prior so I have to pay 25 $ or I will not see the doctor at all. I told her that how a person can have a dream 48 hors prior that he will be sick or ill on the day of his appointment ?? And I did called on 11/21 to let you guys know that I won't be able to come. She said, she don't care, I have to pay 25 $ fine or leave without seeing the doctor. So on 11/30 I wasted my 10 $ on gas coming to your office for nothing.

Its really sad to see such bad reviews for such a great Dr. I have been coming here for over 18 years and I have seen tons of people get mad for not getting their drug of choice, or they feel like they should get stronger meds. etc. I feel like most of these 1 star comments are those drug seeking people. The Dr is under strict government regulations for prescibbing narcotics and unfortunately that rolls down hill to the patient. And if you cant follow the rules or have all your paperwork/tests in order- then he isnt prescribbing anything! its as simple as that.... So dont listen to all these negative reviews This Dr is a good doctor. His staff is always present and helpful. Now the wait times can be long on procedure days but its because he's the only pain management Dr for medicaid in 50 miles!

This doctor was very rude and not compassionate. I went to this doctor for Lupus complications and he sent me to have a MRI . Wouldn’t review any of my records and screamed at me a couple times while their .

He did not get authorization in time for treatment. He said not his fault, not his responsibility. So why didn't he call me that insurance had not been received? He said that is not the way he does things. Very stressful, lack of empathy, money grubber

Dr Chowdhari is a excellent physician, who treats his patients as people and not just a number.. He takes his time to explain every answer he has for any question. His medical assistants , especially Ms Vivian &Ms Michelle,and front desk employee,MsJosie, are AWOME!!

I have NEVER been treated so horrible by a person, yet alone a dr in my life(and i was in the medical field myself) I was a new patient. I have very severe spinal issues that are extremely documented and he wouldn't even look at them or talk to me directly, he kept having his medical assistant address me WITH ME RIGHT IN FRONT OF HIM. Not to mention his office was absolutely disgusting and filthy, I even took pics, and I waited over 2 hours only for him to be a complete jerk to me. Do not go!

Its all true the 1 star reviews, dont believe the 5 star reviews, they are stacked in there as fake, you can tell, no Dr just gets 1 star or 5 star, he does...I know the 1 star are true, I was there about 2 months. Every time i came it was 3 or 4 wait, never less then 3hrs, I never got pain medications from him, but he would milk the insurance for a urine test, which he didnt need to do, he said he did, but the guy would lie to his own mom, the place is dirty and the vending machine dnt work!

I went with my husband last week to this office. The guy is a huge jerk! He is extremely rude and doesn't give a crap about his patients, he acts like all people want are drugs. My husband has legitimate pain and has had several surgeries. Even with his obvious surgical scars he still looked at my husband as a drug abuser. If you are considering going to this quack I would suggest that you keep looking. He doesn't care about you......he only cares about your wallet!!!

He does not take time to explain anything. he truly does not take time with his patients. you will wait a long time for five minutes of his time. also if he puts you on pain pills he will stop them abruptly. Also he won't give you anything for withdrawal. i believe he truly don't care. you better be ready for a lot of shots in your back. Even burning of the nerves. hurts like hell! Just a warning because he won't give you any. It's all about the money for him.

Doctor is only after your $$$!! (Don't forget, you pay him, so, he works for YOU!) After 2 CT scans, he said he would do shots to help. When I showed up, he was going to treat totally the wrong area!! He didn't listen, lost the first CT scans & barely read the second ones sent. He lied about insurance, about what he could do, about being willing to listen and help, about what the law allows, about his caring. I'm very upset to be treated so badly after many years with him.

Doctor Shaukat Chowdhari MD has been the best doctor I've had in dealing with my pain issues ( and I had a lot in the last 6 years ). He has taken his time with me and explains everything to me. so I know everything i need to made decisions on my condition. And I know what I need to do. He is very helpful professional. And the staff has been the best. Always takes there time with me. And are all helpful and friendly. I have never had a bad experience at all with staff or doctor.

This doctor and staff are the bottom of the barrel. They are rude, uncaring, and about money. The doctor doesn't like to be questioned and the staff either. I get the feeling (after 5 visits) this doctor wants patients to do as he says,no questions asked. He wants to keep setting up painful injections, and doesn't want patients asking questions. I realized? he doesn't make money from physical therapy referrals, so wants to only do injections. When I questioned him, he suggested a psychiatrist.?

I would recommend Dr. Chowdhari for anyone suffering pain in their neck or back. He has given medication for my pain, muscle spasms, and arthritis. He has been my doctor since 2004, also have received nerve blocks that help reduce pain. Just recently he gave pain relief cream for my feet. Sometimes I have to wait awhile in waiting room (very clean) but he is worth the wait. Thank you, Sarile (Sara) Collier
