An excellent doctor.
Gives the patient a complete picture of their condition and explains very well what remedy he suggests. He performed my cataract surgery perfectly and gave full instructions on how to take care of the new lens for complete healing. I am very pleased with the outcome and have recommended him to a friend who needs the same surgery.

Dr Allouju did the cornea transplant for my right eye. He is now going to do the transplant for my left eye. He is a very patient experienced and competent surgeon using the newer, better technique DMEK rather than the older DSEK that takes longer to heal. I wish all my doctors were as excellent as he is.

The team was great. I mostly saw Dr. Gohel while in the office and Dr. Alloju did initial eveluation and the surgery. At all times I was kept abrest of all issues, potential problems, medications and so on. Prior to the surgery, Dr. Alloju let me know exactly what would happen and what to expect. He could not have done a better job.

Dr. Alloju and his team are fantastic! I recently underwent vision correction surgery (PRK) with Dr. Alloju and the experience was great. He and his team made sure I was well informed on the procedure and what to expect in terms of recovery. It has been 2 months after the surgery and my vision is perfect. I would highly recommend anyone to visit him for their vision needs.

I had steroid induced cataracts that were diagnosed In my hometown.. After Hurricane Harvey, I moved to the Plano area and of course had to find all new physicians. Dr. Alloju was on my insurance company's list of Ophthalmologists and after some research, I decided to give him a try. I started seeing him in 2018 and he told me I needed cataract surgery but at the time I was unable to have it done. However, Dr. Alloju did the first one on 10/10 and the second one yesterday. The one he did yesterday is already at 20/20. The one he did on the 10th (my worst eye) is nearly there!! I only got the plain IOL's that medicare covers. Seeing Dr. Alloju was the smartest thing I have ever done. My vision hasn't been this good since I was 8 years old. I can't thank Dr. Alloju enough. He is a wonderful doctor, and just a generally nice person. Kind, courteous and considerate. This goes for his office staff also. Each one of them has been kind, courteous and efficient. Thank you all for your service.

My wife and I have had cataract surgery this year and Dr. Alloju and his staff have been such a comfort. You can feel the confidence in which he goes about taking care of his patients. My right eye was done almost a week ago and I am so pleased with the results. We recommend Dr. Alloju and Eyehealth Texas for your eye health needs.

I had cataract surgery in my both eyes in Feb 2019 with excellent results. Right now I have no problems. DR. Alloju performed the surgery with extreme care and professional skills. Mine was a difficult case because of earlier injury to my right eye. His office is very well run with a compassionate and great staff. I am pleased with the results. We are lucky to have a great Optholmologist in our neighborhood.

Dr. Alloju worked me in as a new patient day 1 upon having symptoms of a detached retina or retinal tear which could have been a medical emergency if delayed. They worked me in as soon as the office was open. Dr. Alloju saw me and immediately referred me to a retinal expert who also took me in immediately to perform a laser procedure to resolve the issue. I appreciated the quick and helpful service avoiding something more serious.. Going forward I'm switching my optometrist services to them.

For Dr. Shashi Alloju (EyeHealth Texas) it’s all about money (greenback) and not about the patient care and their wellbeing. Dr. Alloju oath to serve is clearly Hippocratic to say the least. The unprofessional attitude of Dr. Alloju and his staff is was completely unwarranted and unbecoming as a physician. If you want quality healthcare from a Doctor who genuinely cares about you rather than the greenback, then seek another Doctor than Dr. Shashi Alloju (EyeHealth Texas). Good Luck.

When you have issues with your eyes, it can be a frightening thing. I was referred to Dr Alloju after painful recurring tears in outer cornea layer. It didn't take him long to find a solution- tear duct plugs! Who even knew such a thing existed! It not only resolved the need for constant eye drops but prevented me from having to add any more presciption drugs to my life. I'd highly recommend him for your eye care health. He's super smart and really kind and that's a winning combination in a Dr!

I had a great experience with Dr. Alloju. He was highly recommended to me by other doctors I spoke with and it’s easy to see why. He took the time to carefully explain all of my choices for lens implants and helped me arrive at the best decision based on my lifestyle and work needs. He and his staff have been friendly, patient, helpful and professional at all times. For the first time in 40 years I can see without the need for contacts or glasses which has greatly improved my lifestyle.

As a nurse I am very particular about choosing excellent healthcare for my self and my family. Dr. Alloju far exceeded every expectation. Patient manner and communication skills, patient education and support and in my particular case surgical excellence was incredibly met and far beyond. My choice of physician, especially a surgeon, always includes talking with my peers who support the surgical area - thumbs up from every single nurse I spoke with and the strongest of support to proceed with

I started going to Dr. Alloju for a retna tear, after my examination he asked when I was going to have my cataract surgery. I was shocked that within a year my cataracts had materialized so quickly. We were able to schedule surgery within six weeks for the right eye and the second was two weeks later. I am able to read the paper and drive without glasses (which I've worn all my life). His office staff is very helpful and pleasant.
