Dr. Sharrona Williams, MD

Dr. Williams is a brilliant and caring doctor. She is attentive and listens and always has a plan of attack. Her record speaks for itself. Though she has left our area and I had to get a new surgeon, I will never forget Dr. Williams’ compassion and knowledge and I highly recommend her for all your ankle and foot needs.

Not only does Dr. Williams have the basic knowledge required to do her specialty, she has the intuition to know how to explain the problem to a patient. She got on my son's level to explain the solution to a problem left by a previous surgeon. We felt comfortable with her expertise and bedside manner. She's actually worth the ridiculous wait time for which OrthoAtlanta is infamously known throughout the practice with all of their services.

First visit, waited over 3 hours with no apology. Second visit, drove an hour to her office only to be told she wouldn't be in the office that day and all appointments with her were cancelled. The front desk said I could come another day. INEXCUSABLE! No one deserves to be treated so disrespectfully. The office staff, including the office manager couldn't have cared less. I have left at least 7 messages for the doctor to call me. It's been about 6 months and all I have are two bills for each visit, including the one she cancelled with no notice.

Yes there was a long wait the first time. She had an emergency surgery that morning but it was well worth the hour plus drive and the wait. First and foremost she knows exactly what she is talking about. She is amazing and quickly goes right to the heart of the problem. She takes the time to listen completely. She is warm and caring and you do not feel rushed or uncomfortable. I wish there were more doctors like her.

I've had two occasions where Dr. Williams was running 2 hours behind upon my arrival. Both appointments were early morning. I intentionally ask for early or very late appointments in order to prevent a long wait time from happening. I had to rebook after driving 25 miles (one way) when I arrived at the last appointment. Sad to say if it happens again I'll be searching for a new physician even though she's a great doctor. The opinion of the scheduler is that it happens quite often. I realize emergencies happen, but if it's a habit it should be addressed.

I very satisfied with the level of care provided by Dr. Williams and would certainly recommend anyone and everyone to her for care.

Broke a toe, badly, early in 2019 and had to have it surgically repaired. The whole experience, from evaluation in the office to surgery to post op care, was excellent! Dr. Williams and her staff are caring and attentive, making my "broken toe" episode almost pleasant. The recovery has been fine, no problems. I definitely recommend Dr. Williams and Ortho Atlanta.

I am extremely dissatisfied with her medical care. My foot hasn’t healed correctly. I am saddened to say.

In 12/2015 I broke my foot. Orthoatlanta was recommended to me by a friend. I called and made an appt. With Dr. Williams. That was truly a blessing since I suffered for 3 weeks after being misdiagnosed ban urgent care facility. Dr. Williams is compassionate and listening professional. I'm still being by her. My foot healed fine. Even though, I had to wear a boot for 3months, regular visits were scheduled to check my progress. Arthritis had taken hold and would not o away on its own.

Dr. Williams is AMAZING!!!! She did my Achilles tendon surgery and has gently walked me through the whole process! I am so grateful to have e her as my doctor!
