I was a patient for well over a year in 2015 & during that time various xrays & scans were done - not once was I made aware that a radiology report revealed a 2.7 cm Thoracic Aortic Aneurysum. This is now Nov. 2016 & a recent scan revealed that I now have a 4 cm TAA. In reviewing my medical records a hospital doctor found several entries about the aneurysm in 2015. Why wasn't I told? Getting test results is a medical necessity - not optional. Had i been told, I would have sought help.
