Dr. Brown-Kunin, was at first very helpful in submitting relevant lab tests that I needed to figure out what is going on with me that I requested. Also, she was helpful in referring me to one specialist- infectious disease. Unfortunately, though as the lab results came back mostly "normal," I noticed that I was treated with less respect, treated more as someone who was a hypochondriat, hurried, and disbelieved. I could see it in her facial expressions, the limited and curt reply in her words, and the standoffish way she expressed herself at my last appointment. I brought up that my Heavy Metal lab test came back with 40 (plus) (very high) Arsenic and asked if she had reviewed this. No answer. After a second mention of this, she did manage to look this up on the computer (as she was supervising a trainee doctor entering my symptoms -which I was told to limit by her to "2 or 3"), she did acknowledge this and submitted a request for a 2nd HM test as I requested. No empathy.
