Dr. Sharon Greenberg in GN missed my diagnosis
I had the poor luck of being treating by Dr. Greenberg in her queens and great neck offices while I was a high school student. I had facial pain and visual symptoms which she dismissed as unimportant. She said, "When you hear hoofbeats don't think zebras." While I did not have a brain tumor, thankfully, I did have a raging condition of Migraine, that she failed to diagnose. The diagnosis of migraine, especially when it includes visual symptoms, is well with in the scope of the practice of ophthalmology. As a result, I suffered for YEARS, which even extended into my college years at Princeton. I was finally diagnosed correctly and with appropriate preventive care 5 weeks later became symptom free (and have remained that way for years). She brainwashed my parent into thinking my symptoms were psychosomatic. The experience of my Migraine illness impacted everything I did, everywhere I went and all of my relationships. Meeting Dr. Greenberg in her home office in GN was terrible for my life
