I was placed under the care of Dr. Ahmad after my wonderful, previous nephrologist relocated for a fairly rare case of kidney disease. Dr. Ahmad had clearly not taken a second to look at my history or labs before my visit with him. His bedside manner was cold and I felt that he was not listening to what I had to say. Rather than going through my labs with me Dr. Ahmad spent the entirety of my appointment talking about birth control, aggressively reminding me that I can't have children due to my condition, and continuing to push on items I told him I was not comfortable talking about when it came to my reproductive system. My entire visit with him was focused on things not within his scope of practice, or repeating things to me like I was a toddler that my previous nephrologist had already gone over. I had to constantly repeat myself for him to move on from things not within his scope of practice and left the appointment extremely uncomfortable at the verge of tears. Upon speaking with the front desk staff and asking if there was another doctor I could see they let me know this is a common experience with women who visit him, they went out of their way to try to make it right. I did not feel that Dr. Ahmad cared about me and felt his behavior during my appointment was unprofessional, out of line, and inappropriate.

Great doctor! I'm glad he's in Utah.
I had a great experience being treated by Dr. Ahmad. He is extremely well informed and very personable. He took time to explain my condition and treatment. I highly recommend Dr. Ahmad for medical treatment.

Dr. Ahmad has been my primary Nephrologist for more than 10 years. He saved my life. He constantly researches the most current ways to treat patients with ESRD, Chronic Kidney Disease (CKD), or post-transplant renal patient care. He makes his office available for quick appointments, and his staff is amazing!

Referred to Dr. Ahmad by my PCP;my lab work was showing kidney function issues. Dr. Ahmad also did lab work and could not explain why my kidneys were functioning at 54%. He did additional lab work and requested that I call the office the following Monday. I called & had to leave a message for the nurse. No one returned my call. They prefer to communicate online. I don't have any idea what the results online mean. I called again and the receptionist was rude so I hung up,
