Heartless and inconsiderate
Sent us a letter saying appointment time was changed to 8a.m.. The doctor didn't even show up until 10:30 and became irritated with questions and never gave any answers. When asked to refer husband for echo to proceed with becoming active on kidney transplant list he said 'he doesn't qualify for a kidney anymore' . Thank God we never went back and IU health did the echo and he most definitely Does qualify for a kidney transplant. This evil man was willing to give my husband a death sentence if I had been stupid enough to believe his lies. It's ALWAYS worth the drive to Indianapolis to see a doctor who actually cares about patients. They refused to even forward reports from defibrillator to IU health just to continue the evil.

Very dismissive. He doesn't like to be asked questions. He spends as little time with paitent as possible. Very arrogant and rude. I dreaded every time I had an appointment with him. The wait time in office is unbelievable. He has a fantastic staff it's unfortunate he has such an awful attitude towards others.

Unhelpful. Blew me off when I asked a question. What he did say - there was no explaining to it. I was in the waiting room for over two hours. Saw his nurse for most of the time, he was only in there maybe 10 minutes and did nothing. I went in for blood pressure and really high pulse. His office thought it would be a good idea to wait almost 3 months to test the heart. I felt neglected as a patient.

I ended up in the hospital and received two stents. I believe Dr. S. Patel is the only Dr. Patel did exactly what I needed to have done. In my opinion He saved my life it is up to myself to continue to diet exercise keep my blood pressure blood, Sugar, and cholesterol all inin right levels. He is awesome ??
