Dr. Shannon Thomas, MD

Made an appointment and was called 2 days beforehand and told Dr Thomas had to reschedule for 2 months away!!!! When I asked if someone could see me sooner I was told yes, an assistant could so I saw “Samantha H.” After arriving 15 minutes early and checking in I went into an exam room, changed into a hospital gown and waited 30 minutes for Samantha to poke her head in and ask “are you ready?” I’ve been sitting here for 30 minutes, I’m pretty sure I’m ready. I was the only patient in the waiting room. Definitely NOT returning and the scheduler at check out did not schedule my mammogram correctly and it was a huge pain for me to call back and get this rescheduled.

She was on call when I was miscarrying. She was cold and said nothing to make me feel better. She just said I had miscarried after I described what had happened. No sorry for your loss or anything.

I was a patient of Dr. Thomas for about 9 years but had to move out of state recently. I always thought she was an amazing physician but really appreciated her even more when trying to find a new OB/GYN. She is very thorough, listens to her patients and really seems to care about your overall well being.

I have been a patient of Dr. Thomas for over 15 years. She is amazing. Has a wonderful beside manner, very knowledgeable and will answer any and all questions without judgment. She has been with me through a pregnancy and surgery and was wonderful through all experiences. I would highly recommend her to anyone looking for an OB/GYN. She and her staff are always friendly and willing to help in any way they can.

Excellent doctor. Listens to you. Patient and has a bed side manner that is subperb. She explains every procedure and answers your questions so that you have a clear understanding. Highly recommend.

Her knowledge and her beside manner is superb! She talks on your level and not above you.
