Dr. Shannon Couvreur, DO

Dr. Couvreur is always patient and kind. She is knowledgeable and considers all options for treatment.

She has one of the most caring and professional bedside manners I've ever seen. Personable, kind, informative, and patient. To the reviewers who thought otherwise, I can attest she wasn't any way but what I said, when I was there, and I didn't know her from Adam's Housecat before my first visit, is so true. What I did notice is the staff as well as Dr. Shannon were extremely busy, but that just means she's excellent and has a good many patients who need to see her. We chose her because her smile reached her eyes, and we were not disappointed.

I had two other OBGYNs before finding this angel. As a complicated patient, I had several health issues that were left untreated and I was told that would eventually fix themselves by menopause. At the time I was in my early 30s and my symptoms were getting worse. They were impeding my quality of life. Dr. Courveur jumped on the growing list of complications and immediately recommended procedures and a surgery that solved my issues. I’ve never felt better! She always listened and stayed on top of her staff and the hospital during my stay to my sure that I received the best treatment by all. I can never thank her enough for her outstanding bedside manner and for saving me from a life of misery. She’s without a doubt the best doctor that I’ve ever had! She’s taken on my daughter as a patient and several of my friends who adore her just as much. To know her is to love her.

Horrible experience. She demonstrates no sense of care and seemed pissed off during my visit. She didn’t talk about my surgical options, just was very uncaring. Seemed she was just there to do a job and follow guidelines instead of caring for me as a person. You should avoid this doctor.

Dr. Couvreur was ok, but I didn't feel like she really cared about me, and she didn't remember my pregnancy status from visit to visit. Her office staff is terrible. Too many issues to list. They just seem clueless and are very frustrating. I would stay with the doc, but am switching to another provider due to all of the terrible encounters with her staff.

Dr Couvreur didn't bother to review any of my patient history before our appointment. She made assumptions about why I was there that were completely wrong. Her reaction to me and my husband's decision to try for a baby was also very off-putting.

She is the absolute BEST. She is very honest and thoroughly explains everything.

If you've ever had depression, this is the wrong Dr. for you. Made me feel really bad for asking about antidepressants post birth. Very unprofessional.
