I don't even know where to begin. I saw Dr. S for 10 months. He would periodically forget to refill my prescriptions and send them to the wrong pharmacy. He wouldn't listen to me when I talked about wanting to change antidepressants and tried to increase my mood stabilizers instead. He brushed up any concerns I had about certain disorders and told me that there was no way I could have them without even asking me any questions. Appointments with him last 5 minutes. He asks you if your meds are working. If they aren't, he just increases your dose and hangs up. I've never felt so disappointed by a doctor in my life. If you go to ICPC, see a different psychiatrist.

DR.S is a great psychiatrist. I have had many Doctors in the past that kept giving me the wrong medicine and wouldn't take the time to help. Dr. S has stuck with me and helped me through some really difficult times and episodes. He has helped me and continues to help me w/ my severe anxiety and PTSD. Its nice to finally be able to get through my work day and my daily routine without feeling like I'm having a heart attack. Thank you Dr.S for your help and for your time.

I am very glad that i began seeing Dr. S about 5 years ago. He and I worked together to REDUCE then number of meds I was on, and I have never been more well adjusted and stable. His practice is super busy, and sometimes getting an appt. by phone is difficult, but all in all, I have sent many friends to Dr. S and will continue to do so.

The best care I've had in years. He's a truly compassionate doctor, who takes the time to assess all aspects of whats going on. You get a comprehensive approach to treatment that includes, diet, exercise, emotional support and medication. He goes the extra mile and it shows. Would highly recommend him, he's helped me greatly with my anxiety.

I’ve gone to Dr Srinivasan for 10 yrs.Dr S is dedicated to his patients & not the pill pushers type dr.He also studied Social Work which shows by his bedside manner & incorporates your “life” into treatment, not illness symptoms alone.Caution not to confuse Dr Srinivasa Rao with Dr Shankar Srinivasan by similar names. The late Dr Rao is no longer at ICPC.He stays for same day emergencies even if his patient schedule is fully booked.Dr S has given me quality of life I’ve never had by any psych dr.

Our "sessions" last 30 at most -- no exaggeration. I don't understand how someone can get away with charging whatever he charges (I don't read the bills) for that level of service. It's "how you doing?" "good." "any changes?" no "here's your new scrip."

Starts off promising but after a few months you'll be waiting 45 minutes to see him for less than 5 just so he can write you a script. He does not take the patient's concerns over side effects of the medications seriously. The office is terrible to contact/make appointments with. They put you on hold for at least 10 minutes and half the time it disconnects and then you have to start all over. Sometimes their phone system isn't even working.

Terrible bedside manner. Talks down to you and does not listen to what you have to say. Thinks he knows everything. Wait times are long and he does not even bother to get you when needed. He just yells your name from his office.

In the throws of an psychotic event, Dr. Srinivasan left the psychotic patient to "make a phone call," never to return to the office. He left the consoling, etc. to his therapy/counseling/office staff. During normal office visits, Dr. S. looks to the patient's companion for answers, types on his laptop, and rarely looks at the patient. If you need meds, he's your guy. If you need a compassionate, caring, doctor, please look elsewhere.

Has me see him every 60 days. First issue he didn't preauthorize one of my meds insurance wouldn't cover it. Pharmacy called fixed the issue. Then i realize he didn't give me any refills for 2 of my medications. It took me 2 weeks of my pharmacy calling and me calling sometimes multiple times a day for me to get my medications. He finally sends them in . Only to not pre authorize it again going on my 4th week still isn't fixed. I need to call again tomorrow. THIS IS EXHAUSTING. Why do I pay him?
